  • Humble Warrior

This is how I'd best describe Manoj Dias. A humble warrior, beautiful friend to me and a teacher for the world, this legend's energy is something else. We met well over a decade ago in the party scene and even then he was always my safe space. If Manoj was around I felt like an angel was watching over me, for real!

Prior to the life he leads now Manoj was climbing the corporate ladder working his ass off and seemingly "had it all". The job, income, invites, parties, you name it. Yet anxiety was building inside him and escaping through drinking and drugs wasn't cutting it anymore. Insomnia was impairing him and his thoughts were all too consuming. This inevitably led to a major panic attack which scared the living shit out of him, but opened the door to finding alternative solutions to what was going on inside.

His shift from where he was to where he is today reminds us that real and lasting change for the better is possible. It sure isn't easy but it's possible when you take responsibility and accountability for where you are, what you're prepared to do about it and where you'd prefer to be. The work he shares through writing, meditation and speaking pierces straight through your heart and is the medicine our souls longs for. The world is a better place with Manoj in it.

  • Redefining Masculinity

I met Tom Harkin, founder of Tomorrow Man, in 2019 at a facilitated event run by Lululemon. 150+ legends were there to hear Tom speak about masculinity, what it looks like today and what it could look like tomorrow. Tom took us through some powerful exercises that opened up my eyes which is why I've brought him on the podcast.

He struggled with his own masculinity growing up, wishing he could be like the traditional bloke that was sold to him as a kid. On the night he said he hates public speaking and still gets nervous, wondering why he puts himself through that. But it's obvious to see that this guy has a massive heart to help guys, blokes, dudes and little dudes to redefine what masculinity is through disrupting the traditional stereotype of what it means to be a man, build emotional muscle and talk with greater depth, and reinvent a more flexible version of tomorrow's man.

  • Struggletown

Been struggling. Between looking after Steve who’s been off his feet for two weeks, homeschooling, coaching, launching a rebrand and lockdown 4 restrictions, my energy has been going out with not a lot coming back in. Last week I cracked and burst into tears in the bathroom. I needed a release. After letting it out I realised I’d shifted into martyr mode and, “I can do this all by myself” mode. This is a default position of mine, proving I can do it alone. I could see myself becoming tough on the exterior, hear my harsh tones and feeling guilty for acting like a bitch. So I’m sharing my little shit-show, how I've (really) been and what I’m doing about it. Hope you're all doing okay out there!

  • Rescuing Kids From Child Sex Slavery

Millions of children around the world are trafficked or trapped in sexual exploitation with little hope for freedom. Within the first six months of being trafficked, the traffickers intention is to break the children - break their will, their choice and their freedom. I mean fk, can you imagine? The thought of this breaks my heart to say the very least and it's a matter I am dedicated to supporting and helping those committed to shutting down these operations. Today I speak with Paul Mergard from Destiny Rescue who has been helping free children in trafficking for over 20 years. Hearing what he has to say are really hard truths and realities not many of us have to think about. But knowing there are kids out there being forced to have sex with sometimes 20 plus men a night and forced to do it with a smile on their face is devastating which is why I am bringing this topic out of the dark and into our consciousness. One child said to Paul, "I have dreams too but they will never happen for me, so please don't let me dream".

Destiny Rescue's mission is to rescue, restore, empower and protect these children and shutdown these brothels. They have the man power standing by waiting to rescue but are busting for funds. It costs $1500 to rescue one child and $10,000 to do a full raid and shut the whole place down. We as a legendary community can begin these children's birth right to dream again, to dream something better for themselves.

  • The Professor Who Gave Me The Key To Change My Life

Professor Graeme Jackson is the man I met who changed the game of life for me. I walked into his office riddled with chronic pain, over life and desperate for a way out. He was unlike any doctor or healthcare professional I had met when it came to an outlook on chronic pain. He told me that if I really wanted to change and become pain free then it was up to me to take self-responsibility and put my power in healing this myself.

He is one heck of a human who took the time to sense into what I needed. He offered me the greatest gift of all time which was to take responsibility for my life, leading me to this path I now get to share with you.

Professor Graeme Jackson is a clinician researcher with primary interests in MR imaging technologies applied to the human brain and the neurobiology of epilepsy. He is a Neurologist at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, Deputy Director of The Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health and co-leader of the Epilepsy research theme.

  • Trauma To Triumph

This woman has had one hell of a life! She grew up with a mum with bipolar, didn't know who or where her dad was, landed in and out of foster homes when her mum got sick, was sexually abused, her first husband died and that's not even all of it! Hearing this you'd think, fk, surely she's messed up and in struggle down, but it's the absolute opposite.

Erika Cramer, aka, The Queen of Confidence is a fine example of what is possible when you quit running from your past, face yourself and go inward to heal. She's legit changing lives all over the globe through her coaching and online presence, showing up fiercely and courageously. She's the USA version of me and I am so happy to share her soul with you.

  • Lonely Lies

Feeling as though no one gets you, understands you or knows how you feel can feel very real. The mental stories tell you, "you're alone, no one cares about you and that no one is ever there for you", can also sound real. But more often than not, this isn't the truth. It's a warped version of reality that keeps you thinking and feeling isolated and disconnected.

I played this game for a long ass time, and still do but now know it's my pattern to keep others locked out of my heart so I don't have to open it up and fear getting hurt. In today's episode, I share what I did to get back in my heart and remember who stood by me, even though I was selling myself bullshit lies.

  • When You Feel Lost
I've felt lost many times in life and it was mostly due to putting my soul away somewhere I couldn't find it, all in the name of fitting in and being loved. Years of this people pleasing behaviour added up, eventually leading to realise, "who the hell am I and where have buried my true self?" I'd wandered so far from being my soul that the journey back felt impossible and uncomfortable, but what I know for sure is that when you realise you're lost, you can begin the process of finding yourself, again.

  • Focus On What Matters To Your Heart

It’s so inconvenient waking up! It’s a hell of a lot easier to go about life and be unaware of the shit that goes down. Last week, I bared my broken heart when I saw a sheep being treated as if it didn’t feel pain. My blood boiled and my fists clenched, then I sobbed. It hasn’t left my mind and I’ve been on @animalsaustralia site looking at ways to donate and contribute to taking action.

I give one hell of a fk about animals lives and how they are treated and the disconnect we have from how their lives have been, to fill our guts or wear. I will endeavour to use my voice more on matters of my heart to inspire you to reach inside your heart too, on matters worth taking action for. What broke in me has lit a fire inside to do that right thing. I’ll now turn my anger into change.

When it’s your last moments on this earthly plane, be sure to have a smile on your face and a full heart, because you focused on the shit that mattered.

  • Identity Crisis

Who am I without the pain? What's life like when I'm not suffering? What's it like to be deserving of the good life? I was so used to identifying with pain and suffering that when the time came to shift out of that belief system, I went through an identity crisis. I wasn't used to feeling good or being in control of my life. Wandering in unknown territory, slowly, slowly I began to dismantle entrenched limiting beliefs and began the practice of creating my life whilst dying to who I no longer was.
