These questions can even help determine who you want to hang around, who you want your mentors to be, what podcasts you want to listen to and what books you want to read. Something that I've been asking myself is, does this make me feel like I'm expanding or contracting?

Listen in as we answer questions that you have sent in, and hear our favorite quotes of the moment! In today’s “questionably awesome” episode, Evans and I are talking about dads who take their daughters out for breakfast, taking imperfect action to start new ventures, getting your partner involved in self-development and stirring up energy and attention in positive ways. This week we’re also asking listeners to tag Evans and I in something new that you’re going to do this week or that you’re doing. You can tag us @loriharder and @ecradd.
Review of the Week:Ladybug9872Great Minds Rant AlikeThe first episode I listened to I was hearing what sounded like crazy banter between Lori and her sidekick partner Evans. I wasn’t sure this was for me. But I was now having fun because they were having so much fun. For some reason I kept listening, it’s been 5 months now, and I have gotten something out of each episode. I’m a few years older than Lori, and can totally relate to all of her music, TV, movie references to yesteryears. I shared three takeaways from the show with Sheri Salata on my IG, and I’ve never shared a show there before. Then, when I heard the episode called Turn your Hard Times Into Greatness, and Lori shared the anxious rant that runs in her head that keeps her from being present in every aspect of her life, I realized I love this podcast so much because I can relate. So many of us can. I’m not the only one saying the same rant to myself. Lori will give you tips on all aspects of Earning Your Happy, because she’s gone through this and is completely relatable. Listen up!

Monique Bryan shows up in such a beautiful way. She is a speaker, a personal branding expert, a triple positive breast cancer survivor. She also helps successful women entrepreneurs package and sell their genius and unlock the lucrative world of personal brand building. Monique draws widespread admiration for her passion, hustle and unshakeable commitment to helping women showcase their expertise and pitch with confidence. She gave a Tribe Talk at the Bliss Project this year, and I’m so excited she could join me on the podcast to share her story with you all.
Question Highlights:
Guest Bio:
Monique Bryan is based in Toronto and runs her own branding consultancy. Monique has a BA in Fashion Design from Ryerson University and spent time studying abroad in London at the University of Westminster.
Upon returning to Toronto, Monique landed a design position for national retailer Le Chateau and worked her way up to Product Manager for all of ladieswear, becoming the youngest executive at the company. She quickly learned the ins and outs of manufacturing and global sourcing from working with their partners across Asia. But it was her frequent trips to India where she discovered her love of jewellery design and in 2010 she launched a jewellery company, landing her line in retailers across Toronto and New York.
This began her crash course in entrepreneurship and where she discovered her true love for business and marketing. So, when she was offered a chance to head up an accelerator program helping entrepreneurs jump-start their business five years later, she jumped at the chance. Partnering with global brands such as Paypal, Burberry, and Toms Shoes, Monique thought she had found her calling. But before she had a chance to decide, she discovered a lump in her left breast that changed her life forever.
Over the next year Monique underwent eight rounds of chemotherapy, surgery and 21 rounds of radiation, documenting the entire journey through her uncensored and very real account, on her blog, “Surprise, It’s Cancer!” Her blog was discovered by the writers at “Entrepreneur Magazine” and Monique was featured in the October issue in 2018. Today Monique has built a loyal following through her 10K + followers, speaks at events and conducts workshops while running her brand consultancy.

After last week’s episode where I talked about my emotional rollercoaster of late, I was blown away by the amount of people that said they were struggling too. I’m so happy that we have each other to go through this with. In today’s episode I talk about how important it is to learn how to support yourself when you have a vision because nobody else is going to be able to see that vision when it’s still in your head. So what do you need to do to fulfill your goals? What boundaries do you need to set and what help do you need to ask for? I hope today’s quickie serves as a reminder or way for you to be able to get back to the heart-centered reason of WHY you’re working on your dreams.

I’m so excited to bring you this episode with the amazing Gina Meyers. Gina is a celebrity fitness instructor and motivational life coach in Los Angeles, California, where she has been changing lives for over a decade. On the show we talk about how Gina changed her life when she realized she was desperately unhappy and how she manages to show up every day, even when she’s not feeling it.
Question Highlights:
Guest Bio:
Originally from Cincinnati Ohio, Gina packed her bag and followed her childhood dream of being an actress when she moved to California in 1996. After years of auditioning for small parts on television shows, movies, and commercials, she realized that her passion was not in the entertainment industry. Instead, she found her calling in the early 2000s when she realized her true passion was helping others love themselves and feel good in their own skin. Gina’s fitness coaching career began as a yoga and spin instructor at a boutique studio in Venice, California. In 2012, Gina was recruited to be a founding Los Angeles instructor for SoulCycle. Previously only in New York City, Gina helped launch SoulCycle’s west coast venture. She personally helped open up four current Los Angeles studios: West Hollywood, Brentwood, Santa Monica, and Malibu. Recognized for her fitness following, in 2015 Gina became an ambassador for Lululemon Santa Monica and was promoted to Master Instructor at SoulCycle in 2017 as part of the first group of Master Instructors on the west coast. Gina’s passion is grounded in helping others feel their best. In Gina’s work, she not only motivates and inspires her clients to push their physical limits, but to also be mindful of their internal dialogue to create shifts in their perspective. Gina’s classes offer a safe space for individuals to explore their limits, challenge their minds and their bodies, and most importantly walk away feeling accomplished and successful. Gina strives to create meaningful connections and believes vulnerability and self-love are the foundation of a happy life. When not teaching or training, Gina is spending quality time with her husband, two dogs, and two year old son.

Another quickie because there's always time to find inspiration. This episode is all about being on the struggle bus. Right now I'm not feeling super clear. I'm not feeling super strong. And I think that these times are the times that make you reevaluate what's most important. I embrace all parts of me, tight and jiggly smooth and wrinkly, kind and prickly. Mistake and masterpiece exists perfectly inside of me. Failure guides my way. Hopefully this resonates, and I'm just excited to be on this journey with you.

Question 1:
Samantha HoweI am at a transitioning time in my life, finishing up my degree, working full-time and raising two beautiful kiddos, and over the last 3 years I’ve been on a personal journey to find my passion and to heal myself and I’ve noticed I’ve lost a lot of “friends” in this process. I don’t find myself sad about losing them but do you believe that it’s all part of the process of finding oneself? Like true friends would stick with me and the others fall off because of whatever reason? I’d love to hear what you think. I’m on the search for my tribe and I cannot settle until I find them.

In this episode I talk about how you have to decide RIGHT NOW! Indecision is killing your life and there’s no time for it. When you fail to make decisions straightaway, you create more work for yourself and you stop yourself from moving forward.
What’s worse is that you stop yourself from getting valuable feedback. I promise that even if you have made the wrong decision, the feedback you’ll get will be invaluable. When you live in purpose and act with love, God and the Universe have your back. So decide what kind of life you want to live, take one step at a time and be fully alive.
