In Episode 134 I sit down with Jay Morrison (JayMo). Jay's life has been an intense journey starting with an extremely traumatic childhood, followed by a military career that took him to the pinnacle of special operations inside of Force Recon, and finally as a firefighter, which is still his current profession. Jay's path exposed him to countless traumatic incidents which we really delve into. After years of compounding traumatic experiences, Jay found himself in that dark place that veterans often do. He started to struggle with depressive thoughts and suicidal ideations and sought a variety of treatments. It's important for strong men like Jay to share their story of recovery because honesty and being vulnerable about these issues will inevitably help someone else that is currently stuck inside of this toxic cycle.
