A common fear a lot of us share when we're thinking about quitting drinking or just starting our sober journeys is that life will be boring without alcohol. We've spent most of our adult lives believing the lie that alcohol not only makes life fun, but makes *us* fun. What if I told you that the opposite can be true? And there are actually endless ways to have the most fun while sober? And that we can access our most playful and joyful selves without alcohol? In today's episode I'm chatting with Kara Latta, aka the Playful Warrior, about how we can embrace play and rediscover fun without alcohol, and the incredible ways our lives will start to transform when we do.

Sobriety often requires a shift in identity. When we get sober, we may have an identity crisis and feel like we don't know who we are if we're not a drinker. Or we might be grieving our identities as drinkers. In this episode, my mom joins me for a chat about rediscovering and redefining our identities in sobriety.

Sobriety can feel lonely sometimes, but that's not the end of the story! This week my mom and I chat about navigating feelings of loneliness in sobriety. Whether you're experiencing loneliness because you're single and sober, or you're feeling lonely because you have a partner who drinks, or you're feeling isolated from friends and family, we share reminders to help you reconnect back to yourself and stay grounded in your sobriety.
