By now you and your family have been home for 7 very long months. This added pressure of helping kids with distance learning or home schooling and possibly working and doing school themselves has added to many women's plate during 2020. For women with betrayal trauma struggling to find the time to take care of yourself is already difficult, how do you practice self care during covid? How do you make the time to even do this? One of our wonderful WORTH therapists Jody VanDrimmelen, MSW, LCSW came to speak on the podcast about the topic of self care and gives us great tools and tips how to make this is a priority during this time of working from home, school from home, church at home, and even therapy at home!
We learned so much from this episode and hope that you will be able to take these tips and start working on just one at a time to care of you today.

This episode is a continuation of Episode 28. We recommend you listen to that episode first then come back and listen to this one. In this episode we will continue the conversation how grief affects us in betrayal trauma with the stages of anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
When you discover the sexual betrayal of your primary attachment, it plunges you into pain, loss and grief. The losses are extensive and can shake the foundation of trust for everyone and everything, even God. The trauma and feelings that can ensue parallels the sudden loss of a loved one.
