Business is a numbers game but sometimes people over-obsess with the numbers.
They think more followers, more email subscribers, more leads = more sales.
But that’s not always the case.
Because you can have 1,000 new followers, 100 people join your freebie, or 50 leads in your DMs…
But if they’re not ready to buy, it doesn’t matter.
You’ll still find yourself chasing conversations that go nowhere, spending more time convincing than converting and wondering what you’re missing.
When really it’s not always about how many people are in the room – it’s about who’s in the room.
And that’s something I’ve been reminded of lately.
A new group has just joined Micro Messaging, and when I think about this group of brilliant, bright wizards – I see the power of messaging in action.
Because messaging is what helps me attract the right people – the ones who light me up, who get results, who bring the best energy into my offers.
So in today’s episode of the How I Do Content Podcast I’m sharing how I continuously fill my sales pipeline with high-intent, ready to buy dream clients.
Because it doesn’t happen by accident – it happens by design.

In your mind, you’re doing all the right things in your marketing – you’re posting consistently, sharing valuable content…
But you’re still not sure what’s actually working.
If you’re honest, your marketing strategy is probably more “post and hope it works” than anything else.
And this is the reality for more business owners than I’m sure would like to admit it – they’re making marketing decisions based on gut feel instead of grounded data, and that’s why they get stuck.
But the dog’s honest truth is marketing will feel a whole lot easier when you actually know what’s working and what’s not.
And that’s exactly what today’s episode of the How I Do Content Podcast is all about – learning how to use data to make better marketing decisions so you can stop guessing and start creating content that actually converts.
I’m joined by the brilliant Brooke Huckerby – founder of Penn & Lytics, Marketing Analytics Strategist, and self-confessed data translator for real-world marketing.
With over a decade in digital marketing (eight of those years spent deep in analytics) she’s the wizard who can turn messy data into clarity, confidence, and results.
In this episode, Brooke and I dive into what it actually means to make smarter marketing decisions, how your data can show you exactly what your audience wants, and why numbers and creativity aren’t enemies – they’re the ultimate power couple when it comes to creating content that connects and converts.
So if you’re ready to take the guesswork out of your marketing and start making smarter, data-driven decisions – you’re going to love this one.

Ever feel like you’re doing all the right things in business, but it still doesn’t quite click in the way that you want it to?
You’re following the strategies, trying to keep up with the trends, showing up how you “should” – yet somehow, it all feels a little off.
Well that’s usually because the magic doesn’t come from following someone else’s rulebook – it comes from understanding your own.
And that’s exactly what today’s episode of the How I Do Content Podcast is all about.
I’m joined by the very magical Emily McQueen – a Soul Guide and Intuitive Astrologer who helps empaths, intuitives, and spiritual seekers reconnect with their inner wisdom and live in alignment with their purpose and unique magic.
Blending Astrology, Human Design, Energy Healing, Kinesiology, and a healthy dose of psychic insight, Emily bridges the mystical and the practical to help you remember who you are before the world told you who to be.
In this episode, Emily shares how Astrology and Human Design can help you find your unique path (not just in business, but in life) so you can stop forcing strategies that don’t fit and start working with your own energy instead.
We talk about how your Astrology and Human Design chart can reveal the way you work best, how your energy type can make business feel lighter, and why alignment really is the ultimate growth strategy.
She also shares about her experience inside Micro Messaging – and how getting clearer on her messaging has helped her show up with more confidence, attract the right clients, and make her content flow as effortlessly as her magic.
So if you’ve been feeling a little disconnected from your magic lately – this is the episode for you.

When most business owners hear the word tech, they instantly want to hide under their desk.
Because for so many, tech = stress. Funnels, automations, integrations, CRMs… it all sounds like another language.
And instead of helping you sell more, it usually feels like it’s stopping you from doing the things that actually make you money.
But what if your systems weren’t something you were scared of – what if they were the secret to scaling with ease?
Because when your tech and systems work seamlessly in the background, it’s not just about saving time – it’s about building trust, creating consistency, and making it easier for people to buy from you.
And today’s guest on the How I Do Content Podcast knows exactly how to make that happen.
Sophie Carr is a Tech Integrator who helps coaches and online business owners simplify their systems, launch faster, and scale smarter.
She specialises in course platforms and funnels – cutting through the tech overwhelm so her clients can focus on what they do best.
In today’s episode, Sophie’s sharing what every business owner needs to know about creating seamless systems that support more sales – from choosing the right tools to avoiding common tech traps, and how to make your backend just as magical as your marketing.
Plus, she shares about her experience inside Micro Messaging so far – and how shifting her messaging helped her go from feeling invisible online to creating content that finally connects and converts.
So if your tech’s been giving you major “ugh” energy lately – this is definitely the episode is for you.

Micro Messaging helped Sophie refine her content, show up with more confidence, and make people finally get the magic of what she does.
And that’s exactly what we would do together over the next 6-months.
Because when your messaging actually reflects the magic of what you do, everything else in your business (your content, your systems, your offers) clicks into place and starts working with you, not against you.

Welcome back to Part Two of this special mini-series on the How I Do Content Podcast.
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been busy auditing content – in fact I’ve done well over 20 content audits.
And in doing these audits, I noticed two big mistakes that kept popping up.
In Part One, I shared the first big mistake – no urgency. So if you missed that one, definitely go back and listen, because creating urgency in your content is one of the most important shifts you can make in Q4.
LISTEN TO PART 1 HERE
In today’s episode I’m sharing the second mistake I uncovered – a lack of differentiation.
Because even if your content creates urgency, if you sound like every other muggle, you’ll still get overlooked

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve completed more than 20 content audits.
These included free Instagram Post Audits and in-depth content reviews for my clients. And one thing kept standing out...
There are common mistakes showing up again and again – mistakes that are costing people sales.
As we head into Q4 (aka peak selling season), you want your content to actually help you make sales.
So in this two-part series of the How I Do Content Podcast, I’m breaking down the biggest mistakes I’ve uncovered in my content audits, plus how to fix them.
In this Part One I’m going to start with the most common mistake I’m seeing right now – not creating urgency in your content.

Ok, let’s talk about the dementor in the room – content in 2025.
Unless you’ve been living in a cupboard under the stairs you would know that creating content right now just isn’t hitting the same.
Your posts get likes, sure. Your stories get views, but only when you share your dog or your coffee order – not your actual offers.
And everywhere you scroll, it feels like everyone’s saying the exact. same. thing.
You can’t ignore it any longer – content has changed.
So in today’s episode of the How I Do Content Podcast I’m sharing the 3 types of content that don’t work anymore.
Because if you want your content to actually help you stand out and sell out – you can’t keep doing what you’ve always done and expect a different result.

A hot topic of conversation in my world right now is around burn out and business models.
More specifically, when you’re at a stage in your business where you know you want to make some changes (perhaps you want to transition away from 1:1 or trading time for money), BUT the thought of making those changes feels like a lot
It feels like you have to scrap everything and start from scratch. But that kind of thinking is exactly why you haven’t made the changes even though you really want to.
You want to pivot to something new → but you’re scared of losing income if you let go of what’s working now → so you stay stuck in this in-between, exhausted but too scared to shift.
Sound familiar?
I see this with clients all the time and I’ve lived it too.
So in today’s episode of the How I Do Content Podcast I’m going to talk you through what to do when you’re at this stage – and how to move forward without blowing up everything you’ve built.

Creating content isn’t meant to be that Sirius…
But recently I’ve found myself feeling really bored by content, especially on social media.
Bored creating my own content.
Bored scrolling through my feed and seeing the exact same content on repeat.
And worst of all…I’m bored seeing everyone sound exactly the same.
AI has really stripped the human magic of social media.
Instead of creating content that’s fun, bold and unmistakably you…it’s like everyone has a broomstick up their butt.
And I’m over it.
So in today’s episode of the How I Do Content Podcast I’m sharing what I’m going to do about it. But most importantly, my intention is to give you permission to shake things up too.
Because when you’re feeling creatively bored, your content slips into boring territory and ultimately people can feel that energy – which impacts other areas of your business.
And because you’ll always need to create content, why not make it fun, bold, and full of your magic?
So here’s how I’m planning to make marketing magic again.

Business growth is the ultimate goal for so many business owners.
I mean you started your business for the amazing opportunities that are available to you right?
But when you’re ready to step into that next level of business, so many people make the mistake of chasing the shiny external stuff – the viral post, the quick hack, the latest marketing trend that promises instant results.
And while those things might feel exciting in the moment, they’re the wrong levers to focus on if you actually want sustainable, long-term growth.
Because true growth doesn’t just come from what people see on the outside – your marketing, your content, your client roster. It also comes from what’s happening on the inside – your offers, your systems, your client experience, your team.
And today’s guest on the How I Do Content Podcast knows how to bridge that gap better than anyone.
Jessie King is the “second brain” behind some of Australia’s most in-demand brands, blending consumer psychology with brand, operations, and client experience to create growth that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
In today’s episode, Jessie’s sharing the real secrets to sustainable business growth – from messaging to community to AI.
So if business growth is your #1 goal right now – this episode is for you.
