  • Do You Ever Feel Underestimated? - Interview With Jamie Kern Lima

Maybe you’ve seen IT Cosmetics at your local Sephora or even consider it a holy grail in your makeup kit, but I’ll guess you had no idea this mega-brand started as a passion project in one woman’s living room!

This week, I talked to Jamie Kern Lima about how she turned her business into a BILLION dollar company. She is such an exciting guest because of her accomplishment and because she embodies everything we love about the Because I Can mindset.

Jamie faced rejection after rejection. She had no experience or connections in the beauty industry, and it seemed that every step forward was like pushing a boulder uphill. And she didn’t let any of it stop her.

She took those rejections and held on to her vision and listened to her gut, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. Jamie shares some of the lessons she’s learned along the way and what to expect in her newly released book. • Student Update Results

This week, I had the opportunity to talk to Grace Burby, one of our students from the Next Level program, about growing her sales from $600 a year to over $35,000.

I love hearing from our students because they are such a great reminder and inspiration of what’s possible when we’re willing to commit to our goals and finally put our fears and doubts in the backseat.

Grace started her business with ZERO resources. She didn’t have a great idea of what she wanted her product to be or know what direction she wanted to go, but she moved forward anyway.

We chatted about her background in entrepreneurship, how she chose her product, and what she did to get traffic to her store. Grace offers her advice to those who may just be starting out and explains why she loves the Next Level program so much.

The Next Level program is currently exclusive to those in the $1-100K group, and seats are filling up fast. Shoot me an email at [email protected] if you’re interested in being a part of the fun!

And enjoy my conversation with Grace!

    Key Takeaways

    • Grace’s background (04:40)
    • Starting with zero resources (06:45)
    • Trying to choose a product (12:30)

  • Guide To Outsourcing Your Unique Product

I hope you guys are crushing your goals this month. I'm revved up this February because I know how slow it can be for sales, and I don't want you to let that be an excuse to not succeed in the ways that I know you CAN.

It's all about moving forward, setting new records, and getting out of our comfort zones. And today, I'm bringing in a guest who had every excuse not to start her business. Jen Roth is the owner and founder of Birds and Bees Tea, an herbal tea brand aimed at encouraging and helping the well-being of moms, moms-to-be, and their families. Each and every one of her products is crafted with love and intention, and it all started because she took that first step.

  • 11 Apps You Must Have On Your Shopify Store

Happy February! Yes, can you believe it? We’ve already completed the first month of 2021. I hope you’re still feeling excited and encouraged for the year to come because you have SO much to do and lots of money to make.

For me, February has historically been a slower month for sales. I’ve been in the e-commerce game for coming up on a decade, and year after year, this has stayed consistent.

To help push past the sluggishness of this time of year, I brought on Bryan Bowman to reenergize our resolve and make more money this month. He shares the top 11 apps you must have on your Shopify store to grow your numbers.

Grab your pen and paper and tune in!
