It’s book review time again and this month we’re discussing The Art of Insubordination (how to dissent and defy effectively) by Todd Kashdan Ph.D
This book is PERFECT for Chiropractors who are on a mission to change the world (or just their communities).
As most chiropractors have experienced, getting people to change their habits and belief systems is NOT easy. This book provides a roadmap to make that journey easier and more effective..
The author shares “the five essential principles rebels can use to maximise the persuasive potential of their message”. I loved these!
The Art of Insubordination is the essential guide for anyone seeking to be heard, make change, and rebel against an unhealthy status quo.

In today’s episode I’m talking about beliefs. I’ll share with you why beliefs are so important and I’ll share with you 2 things you can do to believe new things.
It was Socrates that said…”an unexamined life is not worth living.”
And when it comes to examining your life, the very best place to begin examining is your beliefs.
Beliefs can be sneaky though. The most important and impactful beliefs are so hidden that we’re not even aware of how they’re impacting our lives.
Even worse…we often end up thinking our beliefs are true.
If you want to up level your income, impact and enjoyment, then making sure your beliefs are aligned with where you want to go is foundational to your success.
Enjoy the show.

Imagine that you had to start a practice from scratch in a community where no one knew you and you only had $20K to invest?
What would you do?
Where would you invest your money? How would you attract new patients and when would you employ your first team members?
These are the exact questions that I asked Dr Stephen Franson (aka the systems guy) in today's episode and to say he knocked it out of the park is an understatement!
To be honest, Stephen’s answers surprised, especially when he started talking about when he’d employ his first staff member. I’d love to know your thoughts.
Today’s episode is jam-packed with practical, tactical and ready to implement strategies for the new and established chiropractor.
Stephen’s shares some business and decision making frameworks that have the ability to accelerate your growth and sky rocket your income.

What is branding and why is it important to your practice?
When I say important, I don’t just mean visually important.
In fact, the visual component that so many of us associate with branding, like the logo, colours and typeface, is only a small component of branding.
Branding, when done right, attracts the right kind of high quality patients, helps you share your message wider and deeper, increases your impact across the community and puts money in your bank account.
In today's episode I'm talking with Justin Faulker. He's a graphic designer and branding expert and LOVES helping chiropractors share their message and grow their practices.
Your brand is what people say about your practice when you're not around. The good news is, there are specific strategies that you can implement to help to guide that conversation and in today's episode, Justin explains exactly how.

Justin spent years working on a range of global brand projects; building a financial centre's presence on a global market, for Lawyers in the Bahamas, Trusts funds in Geneva, and local governments. The work was technically fulfilling, but I found myself disconnected from the client type.
In 2014, Justin opened The Shaping Bay, providing corporate-level branding for small businesses. Taking a step in the opposite direction from the corporate world he had been working in.
In early 20's, Justin got sick whilst travelling and surfing in Indonesia. Like many people's health stories, on returning home, the symptoms didn't go away.
Justin had started reading a lot into diet and lifestyle and began following a paleo style diet which got me instant results. He then started working with a brilliant Naturopath and seeing my cousin, Tom Faulkner for Chiropractic adjustments. Within a few months of treatment, he felt better than I had ever known and finally in control of my health again.
Over the last 10+ years, Justin's health journey inspired his interest in functional healthcare and human vitality, and has inspired his partner Mara to study Naturopathy. Mara and Justin love reading and implementing diet, lifestyle, spirituality, fitness and health hacks into our daily life. Striving to live the most natural, human lifestyle we can.

In today’s episode we’re going to be talking about the importance of being different and how being different and NOT BETTER will help you grow your practice, your impact and your income too!
As a world, we’ve become obsessed with better and many of us have wrongly bought into the idea that the path to helping us stand out from all the noise is by being better than our competitors.
As you’ll learn, the fastest growing companies of today are better than their competitors. They’re DIFFERENT.
In today's episode you discover exactly why being different is so powerful and I’ll share my system for helping to identify how your practice is different, so you can start standing out from all the noise right now!
Enjoy the show.

COVID has forced many chiropractors to look at their business models and investigate ways they can diversify their practices, decrease their overheads and find additional sources of revenue.
As a result of this, I’ve been getting a lot of requests from listeners wanting to know more about how they could supplement or completely replace their income with a virtual practice.

Libby is brilliant, she drops a whole bunch of wisdom in this episode and if you’ve ever wondered about what it takes to add an online component to your business, then you’ll love today's episode.

It’s book review time again folks!
In today’s episode, Martin and Tony are back with me and we discuss our key take aways from The Gap and The Gain by Dan Sullivan and Dr Benjamin Hardy.
This book's major premise is that we are unhappy, unfulfilled and unsuccessful in life because of the way that we measure progress.
According to the authors..."We all have an "ideal", a moving target that is always out of reach. When we measure ourselves against that ideal, we're in "the gap". However, when we measure ourselves against our previous selves, we're in "the gain"."
This book is simple in nature but profound in its reach and I believe it delivers on its promise to be “the high achiever's guide to happiness, confidence, and success.”
Enjoy the show.
