In this episode Mary is joined by Jasmin Steiner (@marriedmomandmantras) to talk about everything from ego death to marriage and motherhood. Jasmin shares with us how she's dealt with severe PPD, a failing and now healing marriage, a loss of identity and self through motherhood and having had to redefine herself on social media platforms from a body-building fitness girl with low self esteem to the mother of twins that shameless showcases her perfectly imperfect mom-bod. Some takeaways from Jasmin include...

    • how to experience an ego death and find self-love
    • how to heal a marriage even when you feel like it's not making you happy
    • how to be in a good mindset during pregnancy and birth

    • #22: Why I'm In Therapy

A solo, personal episode with Mary where she shares her reasons for going to therapy. Unfortunately, there is a big stigma around getting mental health support unless there's something "wrong" with you. Mary talks about why she was afraid to start therapy in the first place and what made her finally commit to it for the past 2 months.

Getting support for your mental health shouldn't be something that's shameful- it shoud be a natural part of preventative mental health! Like taking your vitamins, eating veggies, and getting enough sleep- things we do to support our health BEFORE we are sick.
Thank you for listening as Mary shares some really personal things!

    • #20: A Meditation for Self-Love

In this episode, Mary shares a Buddhist self-love meditation that will help you feel more at peace with yourself. This practice is especially helpful to those who identify as empaths because us empaths pick up on other people's emotions and often try to help them at the expense of ourselves. Instead, Mary wants you to focus on stepping into a higher frequency of self-love so that you can help others without sacrificing yourself. Do this meditation anytime you're feeling sad, overwhelmed, or when you need a self-love pick-me-up.

Mary also touches on anti-racism and the importance of fighting for human rights. This self-love meditation will help you fight for causes you believe in and help the communities in need from a place of unconditional love.
