We're doing a deep dive into women's health and building happy hormones with Kaely McDevitt. We're talking about - what are some common things that hold you back from "building happy hormones" - especially if you feel like you're someone who's "doing all the things"? What's the big deal about progesterone, and how do you know if the symptoms you're experiencing are due to high estrogen, or low progesterone? And most importantly - how do you know if the interventions you've been trying are actually working?

On today's episode we are interviewing Olivia Haas, a Gallbladder and Fatty Liver specialist Nutritionist so we can dig into all things gallbladder health and the gallbladder-hormone connection. This episode is both for people who do and don't have gallbladders! We're discussing some of the main reasons why people may have to get their gallbladder removed, the most important things to focus on following a gallbladder surgery or if you're just trying to support your gallbladder health, and why the liver is so important in this equation.
Heads up for this episode: Olivia is NOT a non-diet practitioner, however we tried to make sure this episode was as neutral nutrition and non-diet as possible - especially because we both work with a lot of people with gallbladder issues as well. We end this episode by giving some advice for how to approach gallbladder health from an add-in approach, rather than a restrictive approach.

As parents, we've worked hard to create a more body-positive and food-neutral environment for our kids. However, during the holidays, we often find ourselves surrounded by family members who may not share the same values or have caused harm in the past. This can leave us feeling protective of our children and wondering how to navigate these complex situations.
In today's episode, we'll explore some ways parents can help their children prepare for family gatherings during the holidays, where conversations about food and body image can be tricky to navigate. We'll discuss the importance of setting boundaries and provide practical advice on maintaining those boundaries, even when faced with family members who may not be respectful of them.
