Diversity matters, and more importantly, it's crucial. New research makes it crystal clear that companies with a more diverse workforce perform better financially. In fact, companies in the top 25% for gender and ethnic diversity at the executive level are more likely to have above-average profitability than companies in the bottom 25%. In short, having more diverse female executives equates to bigger share price gains, stronger revenue growth and higher profits—period. The stats don’t lie! We need an array of voices from various backgrounds, body types, races, and genders to contribute to the conversation if we want to push the culture forward. In this episode, we sit down with a passionate advocate for inclusive entrepreneurship, Carolyn Rodz, the founder and CEO of Hello Alice—the intelligent business advisor for entrepreneurs—to understand what our responsibilities are to keep the needle moving forward and make inclusion the norm, not the exception.
