  • Bucs preview: Will Tampa's turnover machine continue payout versus Seahawks
The 6-2 Seattle Seahawks take on a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that has been a statistically top rushing defense this year, but is among the worst in the league when defending against the pass. Anthony Nachreiner of 600 AM KGEZ joins Brandan Schulze to preview Sunday's matchup. Anthonys says that with the Bucs' blitz heavy defense, it could mean a big day from Russell Wilson if he's able to take advantage of that secondary like other teams already have this season. Chris Carson could have a rough day if Seattle decides to run into the strength of Tampa's defense led by former Washington Huskies defensive lineman Vita Vea.
On the offensive side of the football for the Bucs, Jameis Winston has a lot of talent on the outside at receiver as well as some underutilized talent at tight end. However, Winston has been a turnover machine as the Bucs have been averaging three turnovers a game over their five losses this season. Can Winston be patient and take what the Seahawks defense gives him, or will he try and make big plays into tight windows down the field? With the Bucs 2-5 record as an indicator, Anthony expects mistakes late in the game will provide Seattle with an opportunity to move to 7-2 on the year.

  • Trade deadline passes, no additional moves for the Seahawks
The Seahawks make only one move leading up to the trade deadline and it leads to a quiet Tuesday trade deadline. The Dolphins of all teams were the ones who traded for the biggest name, Aqib Talib, as the move helps open up some cap space for the L.A. Rams. The Seahawks move center Justin Britt to injured reserve this week and Brandan talks about what that means for Seattle. As a fan of the Bucs, Anthony tells Seahawks fans exactly what to expect from Tampa in Sunday's game.

  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: In a tale of two halves, you still have to recognize the other half
At 6-2, the Seattle Seahawks are halfway there (in terms of a potential postseason berth) and living on a prayer. Clinton Bonner and Brandan Schulze take a look at the 27-20 victory over the Falcons and talk about the best moments that you may have gotten overlooked as well as some of the things that helped contribute to the second half comeback by the Falcons. Clinton kicks things off by giving respect to one player in particular that he has been critical of in previous weeks, but after a game like the one he had, Rashaad Penny gets the first IN. Check out this week's show to find out why Jadeveon Clowney, despite a performance where he was in the backfield for a lot of the game, wound up with the final OUT of the day.

  • RECAP: Falcons vs Seahawks - Seattle builds on a 7-year streak
The Seahawks jumped out to a 24-0 halftime lead thanks to an interception by linebacker Mychal Kendricks and three red zone trips that resulted in touchdowns. Russell Wilson was perfect on his targets to Tyler Lockett as that connection counted for more than half of Wilson's yards through the air. However, the Seahawks defense allowed the Falcons and backup quarterback Matt Schaub to put up 20 points in the second half and 460 yards through the air. Kenneth Arthur joins the podcast this week to talk about the Seahawks 27-20 victory as they go to 6-2 on the season.
Since 2012, the Seahawks are now 54-0 when leading by four or more at the half. Seahawks fans may have expected a larger margin of victory after a big first half, but their lead never faced a serious challenge. With just over three minutes left to go in the game, the Falcons went for a two-point conversion that would have made it a one possession game for Atlanta. Bobby Wagner, who became the franchise leader in tackles for the Seahawks, was there to break up the pass and help seal the victory.

  • Seahawks could be a catalyst again in Dan Quinn’s coaching career
The Atlanta Falcons are on the ropes this season at 1-6 and have multiple starting players on both offense and defense who are questionable for Sunday's game. Matt Ryan, who is second only to Phillip Rivers for consecutive NFL starts, could miss his first game after 154 straight starts. If he can't go, Matt Schaub would take over the starting role for Atlanta. Schaub has only started six games since the 2013 game with the Seahawks, when Richard Sherman's interception helped Seattle tie the game against the Texans and ultimately win in overtime. Schaub's record is 1-5 as a starter since that game, winning a Week 12 game for the Baltimore Ravens in Cleveland 33-27.
David Walker of the Falcoholic says that the pressure has been mounting over the previous weeks calling for the team to move on from former Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. Walker predicted that the team could make the move with their bye week in Week 9 if the Falcons go into the break at 1-7. It could be that Seattle ends up being the team who both launches Quinn's head coaching career only to take it away.

  • Diggs trade may signal a change at free safety, Falcons preview, Week 8 picks
Starting off with a quick look at the Seahawks injury report from Wednesday, Russell Wilson was listed for the first time this season with a knee injury. He remained a full participant in practice. As D.J. Fluker and Duane Brown get back to practicing, George Fant becomes a limited participant in practice with a shoulder injury. Brandan joins Anthony Nachreiner on 600 KGEZ to talk about the Quandre Diggs trade and how it could signal a shift who is starting at free safety moving forward. Looking back at the Ravens game, we talk about the Russell Wilson pass intercepted for a touchdown and the Seahawks loss as well as looking forward to the Week 8 matchup with the Falcons. We close out the show with our Week 8 picks.

  • 3 IN, 3 OUT: Justin Britt inspires a unique musical playlist
Historically, offensive lineman don't get a lot of love when it comes to the positive side of the 3 IN, 3 OUT ledger. This week, not only does Justin Britt get an IN, he inspires us all to create a unique musical playlist. With the 30-16 loss, it means for just the second time this season, 3 IN, 3 OUT starts with a loss and if you want to focus on one play in particular it was Tedric Thompson getting beat down the field for a long pass that set up an early score for the Ravens. In the from the flock segment, one suggestion about covering the clink leads to a discussion over what color tarp the team should use and who should be assigned to make sure the rain water doesn't collect in the center.

  • TRADE: Seattle steals DB Quandre Diggs from Detroit
The Seattle Seahawks added to their defensive back group after making a trade with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday. To help Seahawks fans understand why the Lions made the move, Chris Perfett of the Pride of Detroit podcast joins the show to talk about how this move signals some big questions about the Detroit Lions who have played well through seven weeks despite their losing record. Quandre Diggs is now set to be a part of the Seahawks through 2021 after signing a 3 year, $18 million contract extension with the Lions just over a year ago. Diggs primarily has been playing strong safety for the Lions, but has flexibility to play at multiple positions in the secondary.
Now entering his second season as a full-time starter for the Lions, Diggs was the one who gave Sam Darnold his "welcome to the NFL" moment last season, picking off Darnold's first NFL pass and returning it for a touchdown. Diggs has six interceptions in his five-year career. Chris explains during the interview that what makes this trade a steal for the Seahawks is that they're getting a player far beyond the caliber of most 5th round draft picks and he's under contract for the remainder of 2019 as well as the next two seasons.

  • RECAP: Seahawks vs Ravens - Exploring a trade for a dome
The Seattle Seahawks are now 5-2 after a 30-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and the 14-point difference was due to two offensive turnovers that the Ravens defense returned for scores. But does that fully explain the issues this Seahawks team has been showing through the first seven weeks of the season? Rob Staton of Seahawks Draft Blog joins Brandan Schulze to recap the Week 7 loss and the areas where Seattle is struggling most.
Tied up at 13 at the half, the Ravens challenged Seattle to throw the ball coming out of halftime and it turned out to be a coaching move that helped to limit the Seahawks offense to only 3 points in the second half. The Seahawks finished the day just 1 for 3 in the red zone. Rob and Brandan talk about the other shortcomings of the team as the linebacker group continues to come up short of expectations. Rob suggests that the Seahawks may want to find another player on offense with Will Dissly out. The Seahawks haven’t been trusting their run game in short yardage situations and it might be why they are accepting the risk of long field goals over fourth down attempts in short yardage situations.
Looking ahead at the schedule, Seattle now faces two NFC South teams that have combined for three wins. It gives the Seahawks a chance to bounce back before taking on the toughest part of their schedule against the 49ers, Eagles, Vikings and Rams in the following weeks.

  • Bobby Wagner expects Earl Thomas to be well received on Sunday
With Earl Thomas is coming back to Seattle for the first time, there were a lot of moments in the press conferences this week where the players were asked about the former Seahawks All-Pro safety. Before focusing on some of those responses, this episodes looks at the injury report for both the Seahawks and Ravens. Getting into some of the press conferences this week, Bobby Wagner was asked about the reception he expects fans to offer Earl Thomas in his return to Seattle, Pete Carroll was asked about his feelings about Earl and if anything changed after getting the finger when Thomas was carted off the field, and Russell Wilson and Shaquill Griffin talk about some of their favorite memories of the former Seahawks safety.
