Meet Marc Dubrick, the hometown hero who turned into a global triathlon sensation! From his roots in Dekalb, Illinois, Marc soared to become the 48th-best triathlete worldwide, and he's got an inspiring story to tell. 🏊🚴🏃

Marc's journey began with local competitions but took off when he embraced the Junior Elite Draft legal series. A detour to the University of Missouri saw him shine in running, earning All-SEC honors, and setting school records. Running-related injuries nudged him toward swimming, and he's aced it. 🏊

After graduating in 2018, Marc went all-in on his dream to represent the U.S. in triathlons. He bagged the 2019 USAT Elite Rookie of the Year award and steadily improved his World Triathlon Ranking. He's also aced Ironman 70.3 with five podium finishes. Beyond triathlon, you'll find him conquering the pancake flip, immersing in David Attenborough's documentaries, and perfecting the art of coffee brewing. ☕

Travis Mundell is the Founder of The Daily Tri, a YouTube channel turned media company that focuses on the entire sport of triathlon while featuring all the latest news and information.

Nicole Falcaro is a professional middle-distance and long-course Triathlete. She is also a Product Manager for Citibank with extensive startup experience in UI/UX. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Spanish from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. In this episode, we talk about Nicole’s life beginnings in baseball, her “natural faring,” her transition into the working world at a venture-backed startup, how her dog walking business led her to the pro field, and much more!

Conrad Goeringer is the Founder of Working Triathlete, a high-performance triathlon coaching community and team based out of Nashville, TN. He is the author of the book The Working Triathlete  and the co-author of Triathlon Freestyle Simplified.  He has written dozens of articles for triathlon and mainstream media publications. He has coached hundreds of athletes all over the world to triathlon success, including multiple overall national champions, dozens of world championship qualifiers, elite professional triathletes, and pure beginners.

Tamara Jewett is a professional middle-distance Canadian triathlete. Currently ranked 12th in the world by the Professional Triathlete Organization, Tamara became the first woman to break 74 minutes in the run split of a 70.3 with a 73-minute and 8-second total run time (13.1 miles) at 70.3 Augusta in September 2021. 

In this episode, Tamara talks about her life background, and how she stumbled upon her current superpower: running fast! We also go on to talk about her law degree, how she became a writer and team-mate of the Real Triathlon Squad (RTS), her love for taxes and how she identifies herself within the sport of Triathlon. Jaryd is a South African-born athlete, entrepreneur, and endurance sport coach. Jaryd grew up with a deep love for sports, and as things progressed, he decided to give the professional triathlon dream a go by relocating to Boulder, CO. During his time there, he networked within companies like Training Peaks while training with the best of the sport such as Flora Duffy and Cam Dye. Jaryd received his professional license and raced as such in 2019 and part of 2020. Still, after considering his options and meeting Emma Pallant (now wife), he decided to give other things a bit more focus, which led to their eventual marriage, the founding of PEaK team, and much more. To this day, Jaryd has worked with different types of athletes, from runners to triathletes and even potential Formula 1 race car drivers.

In this episode, Jaryd unpacks his life journey as a kid and how many life lessons and experiences led him to where he is today. Jaryd is a full-blown triathlete and entrepreneur all around.
