To finish off our mini series of meditations connecting the chakras I had to have a grand finale with the Sahasrara! In this meditation we connect the Crown Chakra to all the other chakras and understand how the crown can support, heal and strengthen our entire energetic body. This is a big one! I feel that bringing the Universal energy that we have at the Crown into the other chakras is a deeply nourishing practice and one that I hope you feel and benefit from.

When we are safely grounded with a firm foundation at the Root Chakra the Heart is able to be open. It is plain to see that when we feel safe we are able to open our heart and that when we do not feel secure the heart will be guarded. In this meditation we find that connection and encourage the energies of these two chakras to enliven each other, to connect and support us in our daily life.

In today's meditation, we will continue to examine the deep connections between our chakras. The chakras can be place in pairs and we have already explored the connection between the solar plexus and third eye. Today we will look at the bond between the sacral and throat chakra runs very deep. The energetic connection between these two chakras is undeniable. The sacral holds our emotions, creativity, and joy, whilst the throat empowers us to express these feelings authentically. Expressing our emotions clearly can sometimes be a challenge. But, when we process our emotions with the heart’s wisdom, we can share them without blame or shame, strengthening both energy centres.

In today’s meditation we are exploring the connection between the solar plexus chakra and the third eye chakra. These two energy centres are inextricably linked as the Manipura or Solar Plexus is home to the enteric nervous system or ‘belly brain,’ and is most commonly recognised as our “gut instinct. The third eye is the seat of our intuition and inner knowing. It is the place where we find our insight, our clarity, our inner wisdom. Together, the solar plexus and the third eye unify the wisdom of the body and the mind, and today we will meditate on connecting these two beautiful chakras.

In this next active meditation I invite you to some more deeply somatic meditative work. Stomping, shaking and releasing are such powerful techniques to get us back into our bodies, to feel the connection with our bodies and to shift our energy. These are simple yet deeply effective ways of getting in touch with our energy and they also teach us where stuck energy lies. Incorporating these practices into your daily routine can be impactful and help you to feel connected, rooted and with a beautiful awareness of your body.
