I’ve been having a lot of conversations lately around the topic of how to hold space for groups of people in masterminds. The environment of a group mastermind is so different to that of the private coaching space so today I’m sharing some specific strategies and examples from my business which will help support you in running your own group calls. 

In this episode, I take you through three specific things to keep in mind when running your group mastermind calls. The first is managing your energy and how your role as a coach is to remain impartial. This allows you to look at things from a clear vantage point and support your clients from that place. I share some practical strategies on how to manage your own energy before and after calls so you can hold space from a grounded place. 

I also discuss the importance of knowing your limit on calls and understanding what structure works for you. When you are clear on what your calls look like and you have boundaries around how you run those calls, it's going to be so much easier for you to hold space for everyone. 

A clear structure really supports the group mastermind container and I talk about articulating your structure to your clients repeatedly and consistently so they know exactly how they can show up on calls.

Last week I shared with you some of the key successes when it comes to running masterminds and today, I run through some of the biggest mistakes that I often see. I also get personal and share mistakes I’ve made myself when running my first masterminds, and the lessons I’ve learnt along the way. 

It’s such an exciting adventure to create your own mastermind and we want to do the best possible job at creating an incredible experience for our clients. However, we often strive a little too much to over-deliver. Don’t get me wrong - I’m all for delivering immense value to clients in any kind of experience. However, packing too many things into your mastermind is going to leave your clients exhausted and unsure where to spend their time and attention. 

I talk through my own experience with over-delivering and invite you to think about the experience you’re creating. What will help get your client the best results?

As high performers, we often struggle to accept when things go wrong. I personally would beat myself up when things didn’t go to plan. But adopting a mindset of knowing that there are some things you just can’t control will give you the confidence to push through challenges and do your best to improve the things you can control. 

Running a mastermind requires being organised and a certain amount of pre-planning. Does it mean you have to have everything completely mapped out before you start? Absolutely not - I give some practical advice around prepping for your mastermind, and encourage you to begin thinking about the systems and processes you need to set up and run it. 

I know exactly what it feels like to just be a number within a mastermind -  not feeling cared for or really supported as a client. I would never wish for my clients to feel this way, and I know you wouldn’t either. I speak about creating an experience that starts and ends with you caring about the human, and how this will have people coming back to learn from you and continue to invest in you.

The mastermind is such an incredible way to support your client’s journey into scaling their business, and I get asked so many questions around this experience. In today’s episode, I dive into the number one question you should ask yourself when creating a mastermind. I share my answers based on my incredible experiences with my own masterminds over the years. 

When it comes to creating a mastermind, it’s so important to be clear on what your objective is. While there are a lot of masterminds out there, if differentiating yourself is being prioritised over what your clients really need, then you may be starting off on the wrong foot. 

I believe that asking yourself how you can get your clients get the best possible results is the most important goal and the best way to sell your mastermind long-term. Amazing results will have your clients share testimonials and choose to stay on again and again. 

Today I expand on the importance of prioritising your clients’ success and share 3 tips that you can use to drill down a little further on this objective.

I talk about determining what your process is to facilitate the best result for your clients. What kind of support will you provide? What touchpoints do you have for your clients to check in with you? How much content are you providing to meet your clients where they’re at?

I share my thoughts on fleshing out the components that will bring you clarity and support you to build an experience that is really results driven. 

Once you have gotten clear on your processes, you can then begin to focus on what’s really going to make your mastermind stand out. What’s your signature framework? What is your unique methodology?

I am so excited to introduce you to my friend and client, Sarah Rusbatch. Sarah is a certified women's health and wellbeing coach, an accredited grey area drinking coach and keynote speaker. Today Sarah shares her journey of quitting alcohol and how this led to building a multi 6 figure business. 

Sarah has been featured extensively in media such as The ABC, Mama Mia, Channel Nine, Red Magazine and more. She shares her journey to sobriety and the impact of alcohol on mental health to global audiences.

As we all know, drinking alcohol is highly addictive and often goes from being something fun to serving as a crutch. Whether we identify as being alcoholic or we just struggle to moderate, changing our drinking habits can have the most amazing effect on our performance as business owners.

After developing what she describes as a dysfunctional relationship with alcohol, Sarah made the decision to remove alcohol from her life in early 2019 and has never looked back. She now works with women across the globe, guiding them from feeling lost, stuck and out of control to living healthier and happier lives.

Sarah shares her own experience of turning to alcohol during a lack of connection and fulfilment in her business. She describes how she gave up her problematic relationship with alcohol and the success she has seen from doing so. She also explains her approach to guiding her clients in their journey to sobriety. 

We speak about how vulnerability and transparency are vital for connection and growth in business, and how sharing our stories without shame can inspire others to share theirs.

We know that buyer behaviour has changed a lot this year. People generally take longer to buy and we’re seeing a much longer purchasing window. This can be really disheartening for business owners, and I’ve seen many adopt the belief that their clients aren’t buying from them in 2023.  

With high inflation occurring globally, there can be a lot of fear around buyer behaviour. My stance around this is not one of fear, but rather viewing it as an opportunity to build a sustainable business that can withstand different economic seasons. 

Today I share with you a few different strategies that you can use to support your clients in their buying journey. I talk about creating multiple touchpoints for people to get to know you and build a relationship of trust with you.

I believe that lengthening the time you spend with your potential client can be powerful in holding their attention and inspiring them to buy from you. 

Nurturing your potential client through the sales process provides a gateway for you to find out more about what they want. Then, you can offer up the answers and solutions they need.

Chat GPT is an AI tool that really exploded across the internet last year during the Christmas/New Year period and has now taken the world by storm. 

There seem to be many differing opinions and conversations around it – is it a good thing? Is it helpful or not? Is it going to take away jobs? My view is that it’s here, and we may as well get good at using it. 

Like with anything, the best way we can adapt, grow and evolve is to embrace it, use it and see how it can support us in our business.

I’ve personally found it a really powerful tool for my own business, where it’s helping me bounce ideas and marry them together. I use it as a collaboration and response tool, and have found it so valuable in freeing up my time. 

Today I share with you an overview of what Chat GPT actually is, a brief description of how to use it and the three ways I’m using it to support my business.

Generating monthly recurring revenue not only creates safety and grounding within our business, but it also gives us the freedom and flexibility that we as business owners are chasing.

I believe that creating content is something that needs to be prioritised, and I share how I go about this as a core marketing activity. 

Having fear around money can negatively affect your cash flow, and I encourage you to create a positive relationship with checking in daily to see how it’s flowing.
