  • #13- I'm An Imposter: Releasing Imposter Syndrome and the Identity Gap
I feel like an imposter! Of course I do, because identity is not fixed! As much as my ‘ego’ may like to convince me that it is 🙄 Joe Dispenza calls it the "identity gap", moving from “how we appear to who we really are”! 😳 Each of our own past stories exposes this truth: we grow, we age, we change, we evolve! 👶 Yet that old way of being can feel ‘addictive’. There’s often some “secondary gain” in believing that; something we get to hang onto by staying the same. The thought, "That isn’t me", that it 'can't' be, that I’m not good enough or it isn’t possible for me to be another way. What if, what has not been me in the past, could be me, NOW? What if I CREATE it? In this moment, what if I start BEING who I want to be? How much is possible there for me, as I choose to create a new way of being? What may it require I let go of? The scientific process continues to model that as individuals we neurologically can unlearn old ways of being and recreate a new 'self', through rewiring neural pathways: new thoughts, new feelings and new habits! Sometimes, in an instant! We can even chage our DNA! That sounds like some #sciencemagic to me 😋 In episode: @drjoedispenza Joe Dispenza: "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself". • #12- I Can't: The Power of Focus, Perspective and Belief
Thought is reality! ⁉️You heard me right! Our conscious and unconscious mind seek and focus on what we value and believe. Ye old "Confirmation Bias". If you believe you can't, you can't! To fully GET this, it can be helpful to make sense of the science of thoughts, feelings and behaviours, so that's what this episode explores. Then we know we can choose our experience! The mind/body connection is proven, through biochemistry, neurotransmitters, hormones... just to name a few! Changing either the mind or the body impacts the other! Change the body and change the mind. Change the mind and change the body! That's some kinda 'magic' IMO! I share how unconscious beliefs have kept me stuck; how, in the past, I let feelings rule my life; unknowingly addicted to adrenaline and cortisol. No more! I choose my state. I choose my mindset. I share some of the ways I change my physiology and my biochemistry, to change my feelings and my thoughts. Maybe you will too?

  • #11- Let's Get Serious: Fun, Play and Getting Out of the Freeze Response
    Why so serious? 🤡😳
Wanna know how to have more fun and play? I share along the way. Horray! 🎉 (Rhyming is fun 😋)
There is some real $hit that happens in life. And, there is the possibility to find joy, even in the hardest of times. We have the opportunity to choose our perspective and our mindset! Fun and play are ways to get our bodies and our minds beyond: the suffering, out of survival mode, and into a state of thriving!
    Perhaps you'll consider:
Where are the opportunities for you to rewire your brain through how you move your body?
How do you create a state of safety and energy within your body? How do you link your mental states to these energised physical states? In Episode: Dr Espen https://drespen.com/ Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi https://mastermind.com/

  • #10- Perfect: Shedding Perfectionism, Avoidance and Fear of Failure
Episode 10, a 'perfect' 10!? Do you struggle with perfectionism? Hi, my name is Veronica Jayne, and I'm a recovering perfectionist 🙋... (Do they HAVE Perfectionists' Anonymous? 😳🤷) I believe aiming to be perfect is a 'perfect pretending', an excuse to avoid, prevent action and limit expansion. I share the places I got stuck aiming for perfection...university, my initial podcast, my relationships... 😳😩🙄 Relationally, I seek a flawed, conscious human; one willing to co-create messily with me; showing me their shadows; allowing me to do the same. That's what I seek in all relationships! Space to bring all of me while I continue to learn and grow. I believe, regret is a mindset choice. Is there stuff I wouldn't do again? Heck yes! Some $hit I've done just wasn't ok! AND, if I believe it's ok to be imperfect, I get to let go of blame AND victimhood. I get to forgive myself, and others, to let go of resentment and regret. From there we have space to CHANGE and take new action! This is your invitation to let go of 'perfect', the judgement and the harsh inner critic! Perfectly Imperfect. That feels flowy and free to me! 🍃💃🏼

  • #9- Be Normal: Self Discovery and Making Your Own Rules
What IS normal? 🤪 Since normal is a construct, we get to f@ck with what we construct as our normal!
That sounds fun to me! 🙌😄
    I explore 'normal' in relationships.
Perhaps we try to be 'normal' to belong; to feel seen, heard and loved? Is that love? When we are pretending, hiding or conforming? I don't believe it to be. It was lonely and full of self-abandon and no one saw the real me!
I share my 'not normal' relationship journey and how it led me to uncover behaviours which don't serve me anymore. How f@cking with the 'norm' led to me to find deep love for myself. A radically honest relationship with MYSELF!
When 'normal' isn't the goal, we accept ourselves. Integration happens! Now I'm available to create the committed and conscious relationship I desire! All from a foundation of knowing, loving and being authentically me! Sovereign 👸🏼
Perhaps playing 'normal' is preventing you from living your life as authentically you?
What if true freedom comes from creating your own normal; relating with others as authentically you, from the values of: growth, evolution and continual expansion?

  • #8- I'm Not Spiritual: Exploring the Science of Spirituality
Am I only what can be measured? 📏🌡️Or is there more, within and beyond? 🤔✨ I explore my history from childhood Christianity, to atheist, to agnostically seeking spiritual sovereignty. When East meets West, maybe we realise we are seeing the same picture, simply with a different lens? 😳 What if some of the 'woo' is simply waiting on science to understand its 'miracle' and 'magic'; what is known vs. what is yet to be known?
I mean, come on! If you saw someone holding a piece of metal to their head, "talking to" someone on the other side of the planet two-hundred years ago, they were crazy and that was witchery! 🧙‍♀️🪄
If someone told you they had visited the moon one-hundred years ago, that would invite an awkward smile, a nod and had them locked them up somewhere with padded walls. Yet here we are! 🤪
My journey involves uniting the body, mind and 'spirit', or energetic self. Perhaps certainty is more of an illusion to give us a felt sense of control? Maybe we can take joy and pleasure in what is not yet known?I understand only the beginnings of the power of imagination and belief. Through that, I have invited back a little bit of trust. (Some might even call it faith 😉). Maybe today, you feel called to, too? 🤷🏼 In Episode:

  • #7- Fear = Danger: Fear and the Nervous System
All this time !? 😳🤦 I could have seen fear as possibility and opportunity? My brain and central nervous system (CNS) took time to catch up with this! 🏃
Now I'm able to live in whole new ways! 🤗
Fear CAN be our body and brain's way of warning us of danger. Yet, often fear is misplaced!
What if we took fear as an opportunity to explore our responses? To ask: Am I in fight, flight, freeze (fawn or f*ck) mode? Is it serving me?
When we 'freeze', what if we could access the courage to act anyway? What if each time we did we, we rewired the brain and primed our body to interpret fear as excitement, possibility and even opportunity? It is more than possible to regulate the CNS, take action, and create new ways of thinking, feeling and being!
    That's pretty bad @$$!
What if today, you felt fear and took (a small, imperfect) step anyway?

  • #6- Shoulds: How You Could Stop Living by Others Expectations and Start Choosing Your Own Way
What if you stopped should'ing all over your self and your life? What if you felt empowered to do things instead of obliged?! What if the WHY drove you instead of the expectation to 'get it done'? What an opportunity to redesign your thinking! Not that you 'should', but you could! Which leaves the question of, whose 'should' was it anyway?

  • #5- Just Work Harder: Claiming Your Worth and Finding Balance
What if working harder isn't the solution, THIS time? 👩‍🔧🛌🤷
I explore opposing forces, polarities ⚖️, the yin and yang ☯️ or masculine and feminine energies.
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Life on Earth has inbuilt polarities.
What if a balance of work, rest and play is required? I share some of MY favourite ways to balance the 'doing': sleep 💤, getting sun 🌞, grounding 🏞️, meditation 🧘🚶 and various forms of play 🤸💃🏼!
What if today, you allowed yourself to rest or play? What if you paused and tuned into yourself? What if you asked, "What do I truly need right now?" What if you allowed it?

  • #4- I'm Too Much: Owning Your Authentic Expression
What if you're not too much? What if you simply ARE?
I explore the self-limiting belief that, "I'm Too Much" which became clear after realising
    I'd been 'pretending' I wasn't 'enough'.
(What a head f@ck that is!)
What if Beyonce thought she was too much and held back? (Thank sweet baby Jesus she lives her truth!) What if our greatest teachers thought they were too much?
What if narratives that shaped humanity weren't told because of fear of being "too much"?
What if being authentically me, can support one other person?
    That's enough for me!
May I overdo it or mess up at times? Very possible! Yet a belief that I'm too much won't hold me back from living my most authentic life, not anymore! How about you?
