Episode 34
In this episode, I'm talking about how we are own worse enemy when it comes to living out our dreams. If you feel like you are constantly getting in your own way, this is the episode for you.
I know that so many of us dream BIG and feel like we are meant to do more, be more, and try more, but we are not doing it. Why? Because we are not allowing ourselves to GO for it!
Today, I'm giving you permission to GO for it! Let your dreams come alive and take that first step through uncomfortable action and NEW belief's.

Today, I want to share a short exercise that I do with one question and a timer. It is powerful and empowering and will help you hone in how you feel and think and connect with yourself.
I was feeling stuck in creating my course The Freedom Effect and I needed to dump some thoughts and feelings out in order to kick myself in the butt and keep going.
My entry ~ What do you stand for?
I stand for women in the middle of life standing up for themselves and changing how they think about themselves and going after REALLY want in life.
I believe that women over 45 should trust themselves and eat and laugh and dance and play and challenge themselves and speak up and create healthy relationships with other women and food and spice up their marriage with confidence and sexiness and I believe that all women should not drink to excess and love their body where they are and eat to feel good ~
It pisses me off seeing other women bashing themselves over what they ate and feeling guilty and regretful. It pisses me off that other women talk about how perfect their lives are on social media but behind the camera, they are not living their truth. Food shaming exists! Body shaming exists amongst ourselves. We are carrying around the old stories that we grew up with and they are no longer true.
Fewer calories in, more calories out does NOT work! Restriction and deprivation only lead to overeating and feeling like we failed.
Be a certain size. Skinny is good, fat is bad. Weigh a certain number for good health. Wear a certain size of clothing for good health. Workout every single day ONLY with the intention of dropping 5 pounds and when that doesn't happen we give up because exercise is ONLY for losing weight, not our mental health.
It is so frustrating to hear a woman say "I shouldn't eat that" or "I'm was so bad, I ate candy instead of fresh fruit." I can't have pizza, I'm on a diet. I can't go on a diet during my birthday month because I can't have cake. I can't go out to dinner and have fun with friends because I'm on a diet.
I would love to hear from you if you took part in this exercise. Reach out to me via email at [email protected] or on Instagram.

Episode 33 ~
In this quickie episode, I'm talking about my recent trip to Los Angeles California where I attended the She Recovers Conference and the epiphany I had while there.
I also talk about recovering from drinking for thirty-years and what recovering means to me while I'm evolving as a woman and business owner.
I believe in the middle of life we need to let go of shame, judgment, and hiding behind our untruths to step into who we really are. I hope this episode gives your inspiration and a fire inside of you to go after what you want in life no matter how hard it may seem.
I'm with you all of the way!
