If you feel quietly stretched thin during December like you’re managing the gifts, the meals, the timing, the emotions, the expectations… and somehow also everyone’s happiness you’re not imagining it.
You’re carrying the mental load of Christmas, and it’s one of the biggest invisible pressures women face this time of year.
In Day 4 of the 10 Days of Healing series, we explore why the mental load triples during the holidays, why women are often expected to “hold it all together,” and how this emotional responsibility leads to overwhelm, burnout, and resentment.
You’ll also learn a powerful grounding tool The 3-Item Energy Budget to help you simplify your responsibilities, reduce emotional strain, and reclaim your peace today.

Breakups are one of the most psychologically stressful life events we can experience.
Neuroimaging studies show that when we go through heartbreak, the same pain centers in the brain that respond to physical pain are activated, particularly the anterior cingulate cortex.
That’s why it doesn’t just feel emotional, it literally hurts.
Now, for someone with Borderline Personality Disorder that pain can feel magnified.
BPD is characterized by emotional intensity, fear of abandonment, unstable relationships, and a fragile sense of self. When someone with BPD goes through a breakup, it’s not just the loss of a partner, it can feel like the loss of identity, safety, and purpose.

Did you know that in Australia, athletes are at a higher risk of developing disordered eating? In fact, research shows that depending on the sport and level of competition, anywhere from 0 to 19% of male athletes, and 6 to 45% of female athletes, may experience disordered eating or an eating disorder. These numbers are not small—and they remind us that behind the strength, discipline, and performance we admire, many athletes are silently struggling.

When we think of toxic relationships, we usually think about other people. But here’s the question I want to ask you today: Are you in a toxic relationship with yourself?
Because if you’re constantly criticising yourself, ignoring your needs, and treating your body like an enemy… that’s not self-care. That’s self-sabotage.
