Alexandra Carter, world-renowned negotiation trainer for the United Nations, award winning professor, and best selling author, is here to ask us to ask for more. She has outlined the simple and direct questions to ask to turn a “no” into a “yes”. But negotiation is not just arguing over numbers at a table. It is any conversation that steers a relationship. That could be with a boss, a partner, or a child. But the most important relationship to steer, is the one with yourself. To negotiate is to know your worth. And when you ask for more, you not only teach the other party how to value you, but how to value all of us.
