  • Overcoming Anxiety After a Toxic Job (Cait Frandsen’s Recovery Story)

Cait Frandsen started feeling anxiety symptoms in her toxic work environment, where she was bullied and constantly stressed. She thought leaving her job would solve everything, but even after moving to a better, healthier work environment, the anxiety continued to follow her into every part of her life.

Cait felt that everyone hated her, and her panic attacks became a daily reality. Even minor things – like grocery shopping or the sound of her phone ringing – would send her into panic mode.

After catching COVID-19 and nearly losing her mother to a medical emergency, Cait’s anxiety skyrocketed. Intrusive thoughts consumed her – she feared she had failed as a daughter and began to catastrophize everything. She stopped going out, isolated herself from friends, and constantly worried she was going to be fired from her job for having panic attacks.

She tried everything – therapy, meditation, yoga, even cold therapy – but nothing seemed to work. She began to feel hopeless and wanted to give up until she found the Bye Bye Panic program.

At first, she was skeptical – was this just another scam? But after hearing the stories of others who had walked in her shoes, she felt a spark of hope. Slowly, with the help of mentors who had faced the same struggles, Cait began to shift her mindset.

In this episode, Mirka from Bye Bye Panic sits down with Cait, who shares how she learned to stop letting her thoughts control her and how the program helped her rebuild her confidence, allowing her to thrive despite life’s stressors.

Tune in to hear Cait’s powerful story!

  • How I Overcame Cardiophobia and Anxiety Symptoms w/ Tom Chilton

Tom Chilton’s first panic attack occurred during a college road trip, probably as a result of stress and drug use. But soon, anxiety dominated his everyday life.

Tom’s biggest struggle was with cardiophobia, the fear of heart-related issues. Every skipped beat or strange sensation made him think something was seriously wrong, which only worsened his symptoms – and the more his symptoms intensified, the worse his fear became, and then... you know how that spiral goes.

He was desperate – panic attacks would strike without warning, and he ended up in the emergency room multiple times. He tried everything: therapy, diet changes, even quitting caffeine – but nothing worked.

Tom’s journey finally took a positive turn when he discovered the Bye Bye Panic mentorship program. With the support of the community and the program’s focus on acceptance, he began to regain his confidence. Tom learned to confront anxiety directly instead of avoiding it, and that led him to decide never to let his fears control his life again.

In this week’s episode, Mirka, a mentor from Bye Bye Panic, speaks with Tom about his inspiring recovery and the steps he took to overcome his anxiety.

  • How to Calm a Highly Sensitive Nervous System

Millions struggle with the overwhelming symptoms of a highly sensitive nervous system – panic attacks, intrusive thoughts, chronic fatigue – but can’t find relief.

They try strict daily routines, changing their diet, breathing exercises, meditation, even medications, yet nothing seems to work.

  • Greg Overcame Anxiety During COVID with This Proven Recovery Plan

Although Greg Linton had dealt with anxiety before, it hit hard during COVID-19. As a child, he’d experienced occasional episodes of intense fear, and his first full-blown panic attack happened in college after a night of heavy drinking.

However, the combination of lockdowns and becoming a first-time parent during the pandemic triggered much more frequent and intense panic attacks and intrusive thoughts.

Greg found himself constantly fearing he was losing control, thinking he was going crazy. The physical symptoms – racing heart and struggling to breathe – only made things worse, leaving him trapped in a cycle he couldn’t escape.

Like many, Greg tried it all: medications, supplements, mindfulness, meditation... But nothing really worked until he found the Bye Bye Panic mentorship program.

When Greg connected with mentors who had faced the same struggles, he finally began confronting his anxiety instead of running from it. With the community's support, he was able to challenge his false beliefs and break free from fear.

In this week’s interview, Shiv, a mentor from Bye Bye Panic, chats with Greg about his journey to recovery and the strategies that helped him finally overcome his anxiety.

  • The Fundamentals of Anxiety Recovery

Before my anxiety recovery journey, I used to wake up almost every day with a knot in my stomach, my heart racing for no reason, and a sense of dread I just couldn’t shake.

If you’ve experienced these symptoms – and likely a few more – you know that anxiety is so much more than just feeling nervous.

It can take over your entire life and make you feel trapped in a spiral of fear, panic attacks, and other symptoms that don’t seem to go away – racing thoughts, feelings of numbness, fatigue, you name it...

There are techniques that might offer temporary relief - like breathing exercises, meditation, or even medication. But they don't address the root cause. These intense anxiety symptoms can make daily life feel overwhelming and isolating, and you may start thinking that there's no escape.

Well, there is no overnight fix for anxiety, but there is a path to recovery.

In this episode, I explain the fundamentals of anxiety recovery and the difference between merely coping with anxiety and actually overcoming it.

Tune in to learn how to regain control of your life, free yourself from those intense symptoms, and overcome anxiety for good.

    Let’s dive in!

    Key Takeaways:

    • Introduction (00:00)

  • Why You’re Stuck in Anxiety Recovery Despite Doing Everything Right

You’ve been doing everything right in your anxiety recovery. You’ve followed all the steps, watched all the videos, and maybe even joined a support group – but you’re still stuck. The symptoms haven’t budged, and you’re starting to wonder if you’ll ever truly feel free...

    Does this sound familiar?

It does for many people dealing with anxiety. I’ve been there myself, so I know exactly how you feel. It’s so frustrating when you pour your heart into recovery for a long time, only to feel like you’re right back at the beginning.

You can’t help but wonder, “What am I missing? Why isn’t this working?”

The obstacle might not be what you think. It’s not about doing more or trying harder – in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Many people remain stuck because they’re unknowingly caught in “fix-it” mode, which actually keeps anxiety alive.

In this episode, I’ll explain this roadblock and share how to shift your approach to finally break free from it.

Join me, and let’s make true recovery possible.

  • Anxiety Attacks vs. Panic Attacks - 5 Key Differences Explained

Do you know the difference between anxiety attacks and panic attacks? They're not the same thing, even though many people think they are.

In a recent video, I talked about some common symptoms of panic attacks:

    • They come out of nowhere
    • Your body burns through all its adrenaline
    • They’re incredibly scary, often making you feel like you're going to die

In short, a panic attack usually feels like something is seriously wrong, but it tends to die down pretty quickly.

But then I noticed something in the comments – many people were saying their panic attacks were lasting hours, even days. Some even said they’d struggled with panic attacks that lasted for weeks.

This made me realize that a lot of people are mislabeling anxiety attacks as panic attacks. So, I decided to make this quick video to clear up the confusion and explain the differences between the two.

Join me as I break down the five key differences between these often-confused experiences and help you figure out whether you're dealing with one or the other – or both.

Tune in to learn why understanding these distinctions is so important for your recovery journey and how to overcome them in the long term.

Ever find yourself stuck in a mental loop, going over the same thoughts again and again?

    • What if I…
    • I’ll never be able to…
    • I’m not good enough to…

    It’s exhausting, isn’t it?

These are just some of the negative thoughts people become obsessed with over time. It might seem like overthinking, but it’s actually rumination - running a thought over and over again in your mind.

In this episode, I talk about the nature of rumination so you can better understand it and learn how to break this habit.

Tune in to find out why we fall into this trap and, more importantly, how to escape the mental loop you’re in.
