Preventative medications can be amazing and absolutely life changing, or they may cause side effects that you can't stand.
Weening off your medications may also be wanted because you may feel like you no longer want to be on a preventative for a million different reasons!
However, the HOW of weening off your meds MATTERS. I have seen so so so sooo many people quit a medication cold turkey, but it almost never goes well. Weening should take time, not just days to weeks, but often months to even a year.
