In this week's episode, my mom and I have a very open and unfiltered discussion about navigating the pressure of the beauty standard at this time in our lives. I share openly about the pressure I've been putting on myself as my wedding day approaches later this year and why I want to let that go. We also talk about untangling our worth from the way we look, our thoughts on letting ourselves age, and working through struggles with body image. When we get sober, sobriety becomes about LIFE and working through our challenges without alcohol. That's why we're bringing you this conversation today. It's not as focused on sobriety in terms of specifically "not drinking"... but it is an honest conversation between two sober women who are committed to growth and doing our own work in sobriety.
