She shares what it was like receiving her diagnosis, communicating it to the person who transmitted it to her and what it’s been like to date with herpes. We hear how her diagnosis impacted her mental health and self worth and she walks us through the steps she took to get herself back to a good place. We learn about the common misconceptions about herpes, the resources that are available for those who find out they have herpes and how we can better communicate about sexually transmitted infections in order to reduce the stigma.
