If you’re an avid listener of the How I Do Content Podcast you may have noticed that there was no new episode of the podcast last week.

And it wasn’t because I don’t love this podcast anymore or that I couldn’t have pulled together an episode if I wanted to.

But I decided to take a week off because that’s what I needed.

I’d just come out of the launch of Become a Launch Wizard, I was deep and course creation and to be completely honest with you -  I was feeling energetically torn and tired.

Now past Tahryn would’ve pushed through and worked late nights or over the weekend to get it out and into your ears for last week.

But this year I’ve made it a priority to look after myself first and not push through just because I think I should or because I don’t want to let people down.

12 months ago however, I was in a very different place.

So in today’s episode of the How I Do Content podcast I’m sharing why things are different in September 2021 and how “The Feel Good Business Strategy” has changed everything in my life and business for the better - and how you can do the same.

I’m often asked how I have the confidence to show up on video especially as an introvert.

And to be honest it hasn’t always been this way and I’d be lying if I said that there are some days where I wish I didn’t have to - but the reality of being a business owner in an online space is that sometimes you gotta do things like showing on video because it’s important for your business and your community.

Video is a key piece of your content strategy and you need to be confident to show up on video.

Afterall people connect with people and video is one of the fastest ways to build connections and relationships with your community in the online space.

I TOTALLY understand that feeling you get when you think about showing up on video!

But it’s time to overcome those fears and start creating videos!

Which is why I’m next-level excited to chat with today’s guest - Katie Hokin.

Katie is a Mindset and Marketing Business Coach who works with passion-driven Consultants, Creatives and Coaches and supports them to show up online with confidence.

She was also my very first client. When no one else would give me a shot, she did and if it wasn’t for her, the Social Bolt wouldn’t exist and I wouldn’t be here talking to you.

I KNOW launching can feel like a big, scary, hairy, beast of a thing…

Especially if you’ve never launched before OR even if you’ve launched before but it didn’t go exactly as you’d hoped…

It’s safe to say it’s enough to scare you SHITLESS.

In February 2021 I began the third launch of The School of Content Wizardry full of confidence.

This was a program that I’d poured my heart and soul into and I was well prepared ahead of the launch.

But by the time the cart closed...I’d crashed hard. The big goals and the high hopes that I had at the start of the launch disappeared and I found myself doubting EVERYTHING.

I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hit me hard.

But it wasn’t too long before it was time to launch again…

And the lingering doubts and fears from my last launch came bubbling to the surface.

A big part of launching is having the right energy so I knew I needed to work through these thoughts and move that old energy from my previous launch.

Enter Energy Magician - Maree Eddings.

Maree is an Energy Sensitive, Change Leader and Energy Healer who is on a mission to expand the energy consciousness of the world through her training programs Divine Leaders of Change Sistermind and The Energy Academy.

She wants to contribute to the world and help womxn rise up to their energy consciousness so that they too can hold their power in any situation and in any room and as a result shift that paradigm that we all experience.

Maree is also one of my all-time favourite humans. Her energy is infectious and when you’re in her presence you can’t help but feel lit the fuck up.

I went to her after that launch seeking her help and using her magical techniques she re-programmed those old doubts and beliefs and replaced them with more empowering and helpful thoughts.

And in June 2021 I had my biggest launch ever.

The work Maree & I did before and during my launch helped me stay connected with my energy and magnetise magical clients throughout my launch.

At the beginning of June I ticked over 2 years in business.

I was knee deep in the launch for the School of Content Wizardry at the time…

Today’s guest on the How I Do Content Podcast is utterly fabulous!

She’s one of my favourite humans and a game changer in her space.
