In this episode, we dive deep into what makes your fearful avoidant so chaotic. It can be really confusing to be with a fearful avoidant, one minute they’re charming and adorable the next minute they’re probing you with questions and asking for space. It all comes down to a lack of trust, a fear of setting boundaries (and the guilt that follows), and the constant tug-of-war between a fear of abandonment/betrayal and a high need for freedom. If you’re struggling to connect with a Fearful Avoidant partner, I’ll share my number one tip for improving communication and fostering a healthier relationship dynamic. Tune in to better understand the chaos and how to navigate it.

Do you struggle with discerning between avoidance or intuition? Do you experience the ick in dating? If so this episode is for you. Jordan shares how she healed her fearful avoidant attachment style in order to stop serial dating, slow down, and actually find someone she wanted to be with. Jordan started this work with a crippling belief that she was behind in her dating life, that she needed a partner to be validated, and that she was defective. Hear how she started to let all of this go and transform the way she was showing up in relationships.

Do you feel like you can only rely on yourself or that it’s a sign of weakness to share your feelings? If so, this episode is for you. I share why the dismissive avoidant attachment style is brought up to think they need to be independent. I also share why the dismissive-avoidant is cut off from their emotions. If you’re in a relationship with a dismissive avoidant this will help you understand why they need so much space and why feelings are so hard for them.

I’m working with a client right now that has ADHD. For most of his life guilt and shame have been his big motivators. They often say things like next time you just need to work harder or do better or push through. I get it, I’ve used similar motivators in the past. My inner voice often says things like you should have known better. You probably think this is the only way to do things but I promise it’s actually hurting you in the long term. Listen to hear more about how this is affecting your relationships.
