Have you wondered if the Enneagram is a cult? Because that was my thought when I first heard about it.
As I began to research and truly understand what the Enneagram means and how it helps us, it changed everything. A big turning point for me was when I learned about the Instagram account, @yourenneagramcoach. This account is run by Beth McCord who is an Enneagram expert, but more importantly a lover of Jesus.
Beth and her husband Jeff McCord run their own company where they are teaching individuals how to use the Enneagram as a way to draw closer to Jesus and understand their natural paths in life.
Yourenneagramcoach also has an online program where they certify coaches which is where I got my Enneagram Coaching certification. I chose their organization because of the gospel focus.
We believe that true transformation comes from Jesus Christ, but the Enneagram is a powerful tool to point us toward God.
In this episode I interview Beth McCord who is an Enneagram 9, she discusses what it looks like to live in alignment with the gospel, how to discover your type, and how to use the Enneagram in a biblical way.
I loved this interview and can't wait for you to listen to the wisdom from Beth McCord, the founder of yourenneagramcoach!

If you are a lover of writing and have considered a blog, you've probably wondered, is this for me? Is there ROOM for me? Everyone and their mom have a blog, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for you.
Today I had the privilege of interviewing Darya Knysh who is a blogging business coach. Darya took a risky leap of faith a few years ago when she knew she wanted to pursue her dreams rather than the traditional job she thought she'd pursue. Her entire life, the goal was for her to go to school and get the degree she needed for her work. Though she accomplished this, something still didn't feel right.
She knew there was more to her and deeper ways she could HELP people. Darya spent hours researching how to blog and she explored the possibility of making it a business. Through long days and extremely hard work, Darya is now the CEO of her company and runs a full-time blog. She coaches other individuals on how to start their own blog and make a living from it.
In this episode Darya shares about the mindsets and work ethic it takes to build something from nothing. If you're a writer or aspire to be, you're going to love this episode!

How to handle rejection? Oh girl, that is such a good question that we're all asking. Rejection comes in many different ways, but I think one of the hardest ways to deal with it is when you're rejected by the people that were supposed to love and support you.
Maybe you've been rejected and you feel bitterness and angry rising in your heart? It stings and hurts. On today's podcast, I interviewed Taylor Sandy who is a blogger in Texas. Taylor has an incredible story of how she chose the college she was going to attend. She was an amazing soccer player and dreamed of the career she would have finally played in college.
Little did she know, it turned out to be a terrible experience or at least different than she imaged. In this episode, Taylor teaches us how to handle rejection and use that energy for the greater. This episode was incredible and I can't wait for you to listen!

Having you struggled to know your next steps in life? Jenny Marrs is one of the stars in Fix It To Fabulous with HGTV. The latest TV show where she and her husband, Dave are renovating houses in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Jenny Marrs shares her story from how they originally got a deal on TV, started a non-profit, and ended up with 5 kids. Their family has a unique story that is touching lives in multiple ways.
The biggest lesson she's learned over the years is the importance of saying yes to opportunities that God has placed right in front of you. Often times we fear to make a decision because we don't know what it looks like in the end, but God calls us to say yes to Him. When we say yes, he oftentimes brings us to more and more opportunities that we could never dream of.

The Enneagram is a personality type system that has been around for hundreds of years. In fact, in most recent years Ian Cron wrote a book called, "The road back to you" and it took off. Several individuals in the past few years have really gotten into the enneagram and it's caused a bigger movement.
The personality typing system has been transformative in my own life and I'm excited to break this down in a simple way. The Enneagram is a 9 point graph, identifying 9 different types of personalities. Within each number are so many more things, but understanding this system can help maximize your life. Why? Because it allows you to understand yourself, how you connect with God, and how you can connect with others better.
It takes intentionality to live a full and meaningful life and the Enneagram is one way to help you create a life you love to live.
