On the podcast today I’m chatting with the best selling author of The One Page Marketing Plan, Allan Dib. This is one of my favourite marketing books and one that I recommend more than any other.
This is the second time I’ve had Allan on the show. There are many gold nuggets in this episode, but the one that has really stuck with me was when Allan answered the question of “why do so many businesses struggle with marketing?” He said “the market place is not a meritocracy, the most deserving businesses don’t get paid the most, the best marketers get paid the most.”
In essence..thinking that you can grow your practice just by being good is a recipe for disaster. Let me be clear, I’m not suggesting for a moment that you don’t need to be amazing, I’m just suggesting that is not enough to build a thriving practice.
If you’d like to learn a simple but highly effective marketing strategy, then listen in.
Thanks for all you do. Keep saving lives

Have you ever stopped to think about the language you use with patients? The words we use have the potential to improve the results of our patients or, alternatively, keep them locked in a paradigm of sickness and victimhood.
Put simply, the words you use can improve the patients' results.
Wild right!

Imagine this scenario…over the past 24 months, 5 new chiropractors have moved into your town and all of them are flooding social media with Facebook ads offering a special introductory offer. As a result you’ve noticed a significant decrease in new patients and a steady decline in weekly patient visits.
What would you do and how would you deal with this scenario?
In today’s episode I’ll share with you exactly what I would do and how I would manage this situation.

Today’s episode was a real treat for me. I got to speak to my favourite instagrammer, Dr Lauryn Brunclik. If you’re not following Lauryn already, then as soon as you finish this episode go and do it!
I constantly laugh out loud at her reels and I marvel at her insight and wisdom.
Lauryn Brunclik is a chiropractor of 12 yrs, mom, podcaster, wife, superhost on Airbnb, chiropractic coach, course creator, runner, Christian, and pizza enthusiast…yep she’s super busy!
Today Lauryn and I talked about her creative processes. She shared how she comes up with content, where she films her videos, what works and what doesn’t and she gives me a sneak peak into her fantastic new project that she’s releasing shortly.
Spoiler alert, if you’ve already grown a successful practice and you’re looking for the next creative outlet or just wondering what’s next, then be sure to listen.
That’s enough from me.
Let’s go talk with Lauryn.
Thanks for all you do. Keep saving lives.

Never short on ideas or inspiration, Lauryn takes constant action to make her dreams a reality, all while attempting to keep mental, physical health, and the relationships in her life a priority. Don't ask her how that's working out- it depends on the day. But she wants you to know she started therapy, so she's fine.
In 2019 she started the podcast She Slays the Day as a way to help other chiropractors succeed, and as an outlet for her sarcasm and humorous approach to life's hurdles. To date, She Slays the Day has over 250,000 downloads, and has a committed following lovingly termed 'She Slayers'.
Her newest passion project is her life's work poured into a 10 wk program. In the Multipassionate Chiropreneur, Dr. Lauryn will walk like minded chiropractors who have grown a successful practice, but wonder "what's next" in securing up their practice so it requires less of their time and energy, gaining back freedom to pursue their next adventure.
If you're easily offended, she apologizes in advance.
