Today is the 50th episode of the 'Present and Sober' podcast!!! How on earth did that happen so fast? Yet at the same time, we've learnt so so much and we hope you all have too. This week's guest, Mary Davenport, is with us not just to share her story but to talk about motivation, the comfort zone, and the joy of living an alcohol-free life. We wanted to deliver a truly special episode for this milestone and Mary 100% delivered! 

Mary is a former party girl and current alcohol-free life coach. She grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah where alcohol was small and irrelevant in her life, and then spent her 20’s and 30’s globe-trotting with her foreign-service spouse and having babies. Sounds fun and glamorous and oftentimes it was, but it was also frequently challenging and lonely. Drinking was her favourite way to make new friends, let loose, celebrate, mark the end of the work day, or pass a Sunday afternoon. She truly had no idea how much alcohol was impacting her life and mental health until she took an experimental 30-day break from drinking. That was in January of 2019, and she hasn’t looked back. Amazed by how much better life is when lived “naked” rather than numb, Mary trained with Annie Grace to become an alcohol-free life coach and has helped hundreds of people on their journeys to freedom.
