Rana el Kaliouby is a leading thinker on a technological development that will change our entire world—artificial intelligence.

She is co-founder and CEO of Affectiva (A-Fectiva), an MIT Media Lab spin-off that pioneers Human Perception AI, or artificial intelligence that can understand all things human. Rana has a PhD from University of Cambridge and a Post Doctoral degree from MIT. She has delivered a TED Talk that has been. viewed nearly 2 million times and is the author of the new book, Girl Decoded, which released April 21.
