Peter Russell is a pioneer in his field. Author of ten books and producer of three films on consciousness, spiritual awakening and their role in the future development of humanity. With a background in mathematics, theoretical physics, experimental psychology, and computer science from Cambridge University, Peter then delved into the mysteries of the human mind, exploring meditation and eastern philosophy in India.
We talk about letting go of nothing, and what that even means. The idea of 'coming home' through micro meditations (something I'll be implementing) and forgiving humanity.
I LOVE these conversations, enjoy!

If you're into deep work, you're definitely into hearing from Mark LeBusque. I sure am and this conversation is yet another one where Mark pulls no punches on himself as he opens up about the work he's doing in his own life, and in others.
Prompted by the idea in a recent book that Mark's reading around the courage to be disliked, we take about some of the confronting thoughts and beliefs we hang on to, such as in Mark's case the perceived 'bad dad' label, from the days he now reflects on and feels that he prioritised a corporate career over his kids sports and various milestones. It takes a hell of a lot of courage to speak up about stuff like this, and that why I absolutely adore having Mark on the show! Well, that and he keeps me mighty honest and challenges my own thinking and behaviour at the same time.
Oh and be sure to stick around 'til the end when LeBusque belts our some Johnny Cash on his guitar...

I had a great conversation with Chris Cheers, a passionate psychologist and educator from Melbourne. He's dedicated to creating safe spaces for mental health and has expertise in serving artists, creatives, and the LGBTQI+ community.
In our chat, we explored various aspects of life, psychology, and mental well-being, including self-care and caring for others (and how to do both simultaneously), identity, and creating a meaningful life. I admire Chris for his openness and insights both personally and professionally, which I bet is equally reflected in his newly released book 'The New Rulebook.' I dare say you might want to check it out after listening to our conversation!

The funny thing about coaching is that when we seek it, we believe the coach has the answers. However, the more I coached (and was coached) the more I realised that the answers were mine, not theirs (if they're a good coach) and that the answers were already inside me, waiting to be realised. A good coach just creates a space, a perspective, they can draw you out of your bubble of bullsh^t.
When I coach others, I feel like I learn and evolve at a rapid pace... and for me I've experienced this in boxing and in mindset and behaviour coaching.
So this... this is an insight to my thoughts around this.

"You don't joke about cancer, but me and Zane had this stupid, funny relationship so like, I was just waiting for him to say it's just a joke or something..."
At 18 when you go for an MRI to discover what's inhibiting your training, you don't expect walk out with an aggressive cancer diagnosis. Zac had been there for his best mate Zane when his family lost their home in the bushfires. They'd built an incredible bond, and 18 months after his diagnosis, Zane was taken by Osteosarcoma.
Today Zac shares the warts-and-all encounter with this experience. How at 19 he coped and processed his grief and loss. How amidst the pandemic he discovered running (and eventually ultra running) and how this became his vehicle to not only process his experience and his emotions but also to raise awareness for Osteosarcoma through launching the Not-For-Profit T2KO. (Get around it!)
This is a touching and honest chat with someone who's been through more than they should and has found perspective and purpose throughout the adversity and chaos.

The lad is back for yet another debunking humanness style conversation where we talk about objective and subjective realities, what we say we want vs what we actually respond to, choice and the art of letting go (yeah, I still struggle with that) and creativity... what is it we need to switch off or on to access it?
Enjoy!

At the age of 23, Amy Molloy found herself widowed just three weeks after her wedding day. For me, the mere thought of being married at such a young age is difficult to fathom, let alone facing the profound grief that accompanied her devastating loss. Amy persevered and found solace in her process of coping, which eventually became the foundation of her candid memoir, 'Wife Interrupted.' A book which not only garnered her validation and praise but also invited its share of criticism. More importantly, it marked the beginning of her profound relationship with writing and the healing power of storytelling.
Today, Amy is celebrated as an award-winning journalist, editor, author, and podcast writer. She crafts uplifting content for some of the most prominent names in global publishing, drawing from her personal and professional experiences. Amy seamlessly integrates these experiences to inspire and coach others, guiding them to put their stories down on paper. Her philosophy revolves around writing from wounds and editing from scars, a mantra that resonates deeply with me, especially given my own encounters with storytelling through conversations on this very show.
In our conversation, we delve into Amy's journey, exploring the lessons she learned, the growth she experienced, and the silver linings she discovered during turbulent times.
She is AH-MAZING!
