  • Am I Responsible For How Other People Feel?
Am I responsible for how other people feel? There are a couple answers to this question and many of them relate to our choice in our relationships. Some people take too much responsibility for how others feel, others take no responsibility at all. Teal explains that our responsibility is a choice and that we need to learn how to choose want we want rather than be led by what we think is right or wrong.

  • You Don't Fear The Unknown
As people, we become addicted to knowing. We become addicted to the acquiring of knowledge. When we grasp a new concept, our brain releases a dose of chemicals similar to opium. Knowledge addiction gives the physical human a strong evolutionary advantage. We are guaranteed to progress if we are hard wired to learn. The human biological system, being a reflection of the greater universe (which is geared towards expansion), is essentially designed to maximize the rate at which new but understandable information is acquired. Once you have acquired a new bit of information, you spend your time learning something else. Without thinking about it, we pick out experiences that are new; experiences which cause us to know more. A biological addiction to know more is perfect design because it endows the physical human with a perpetuating beneficial learning behavior, even if misery and negative consequences are experienced along the way. This is helpful in an environment of contrast such as this.

  • Will Healing Ever End?
When people start off on the path of healing something, they often do so with a feeling of excitement and empowerment. We feel like we have the power to actually create the feel good life that we want. Any time we find a new tool to heal with or approach to healing or new process and we experience some healing with it, we feel like we have finally found THE answer and that in no time, we will be completely healed. We will be living a healthy life of total bliss and harmony. And then something terrible happens. We hit something else that needs to be healed.

  • Why We Can't Feel Loved For Who We Are
The human ego is essentially the perception of yourself as a separate self. When you learn to call yourself by a name, you learn to see yourself as an ‘it’ or a ‘thing’, which automatically makes you separate from every other ‘it’ or ‘thing’ in the universe. When you are born, your ego is not formed yet because you do not intellectually conceptualize of who you are because you do not think of yourself as a separate thing yet. So, you do not identify with anything yet.

  • Why Women Give Mixed Messages - (Women in the Work Place)
Why do women give mixed messages? Many women have a split within themselves. The part that wants the traditional female role in society and the part that doesn’t. They struggle with today's society and the pressure to be both feminine and masculine. Teal shows how we can integrate the too opposing perspectives and find a place of peace in such a dichotomy. Giving mixed messages and women in the work place is a great video with Teal Swan showing her raw vulnerability.

  • Why Love Turns Into Hate
You have all heard the sayings: There is a fine line between love and hate. Relationships are essentially a balancing act between love and hate. Haters are just confused lovers. You have to love someone to hate them. The opposite of hate is not love, it is indifference… If you hate someone, you still care.

  • Why Fans Turn Into Haters - The Psychology of Idolization
To idolize someone is to admire or revere someone excessively. Obviously “excessive” is a matter of perception. It is subjective. One person would feel that putting pictures of someone on your wall (like nearly every teenager does with their favorite celebrity) is excessive admiration. One might feel like that is a perfectly healthy form of appreciation. To admire something and to deeply respect something and to appreciate something is healthy. But there are some key ways that idolization can and does turn negative.

  • Why Don't We Remember Our Past Lives?
Your eternal aspect is not oriented towards the past; it is always using the past as a platform for what is to come. We are always oriented towards the expansion the improvement. When you come into a new life, you close your eyes to the past, in order to open them to a new existence. The benefit of a new life is a new perspective... other than a perspective that is an accumulation of every other life as well. That would be like trying to listen to a billion channels on a radio at the same time. Our eternal being (often called a soul) manages to be all these channels at once. Which is why you can see your past lives when you withdraw your focus and re-align with your eternal consciousness like when the Buddha was meditating under the Bodhi tree.
We come into one singular life focused on this singular life.

  • Why Do Some People Hate Teal?
Try to conceptualize of what we often call God or Source as a unified consciousness. Try to imagine that it is all there is. It might not be as easy as it sounds to imagine because your brain is designed for the physical world, which is a world of singularity. It’s not designed to be able to comprehend oneness. When the brain thinks of one, it thinks of a thing. But the minute you think of a thing, it implies that that thing is separate from something else, even if that something else is just empty space or air. That thing has definition and it has a beginning and end. But can you stretch your mind enough to imagine a consciousness that has no beginning or end? A consciousness so all-inclusive that there is nothing in existence that is not part of it?

  • Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People? (Why Life Seems Unfair)
You have been taught that your thoughts come in response to what you are observing. This is the first grand illusion that we have collectively stepped into and accepted as a species. The real truth is that what you are observing has come in response to your thoughts. It comes by virtue of what you have been paying attention to
