today's episode is not just for women who are pregnant, but those like ME who hope to have babies in the future. Named a “Self-Help Guru” by Elle Magazine, today’s guest is the bestselling author of Mastering Your Mean Girl, Open Wide, Comparisonitis and the Audible Original PurposeFULL, as well as the host of #1 rated podcast The Melissa Ambrosini Show.
Melissa has just launched her Wholy Mama program which she sits down to share with me today! We chat all things from conscious conception, how to have an empowered birth and surrender to the uncertainty of it all, postpartum and of course, conscious parenting. Her tools & tips are invaluable no matter what stage of the "soon to be parent" or "parent" journey you're on. A message and program for all future and current mamas that I feel is so powerful and wholesome. You won't regret listening to this one!
Share it with a soon to be or future mama and share the love.
You can find out more about the program here or connect with Melissa on IG here.

Today I share a 3 step process that has recently helped me deal with and work through negative thoughts. The aim is never to completely stop them (I feel that's impossible), but rather change how we respond to them.
This episode has been inspired by the work of Mo Gawdat, author of Solve for Happy.
You can check out Mo's interview on The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett.

Today I want to share some of the worst habits a lot of us have, some I still slip into, that are detrimental to our life balance. Some of these are going to sound basic, but if it’s so simple, why do we still keep doing them? The first half relate to our physical health and the second half relate to our mental health. Woven in these are some that also cross over with relationships and work life which is always always underpinned by our health.
Ready to see how many you’re currently engaging in? Make sure you keep a tally of which ones are In your life at the moment as I am going to set you a challenge at the end.

This episode marks 100 GUEST EPISODES! I am so excited to celebrate with a truly special guest, the wonderful CEO and co-founder of Australian health & wellness app, Keep it Cleaner (KIC). Her mission is to help others embrace self-acceptance and make sustainable changes towards a healthier, happier lifestyle. Having Laura back on the show for a one on one was an absolute treat.
Today we dive into how she cushions her self care around a busy schedule, why boundaries can't be black and white, how to do what you can with what you have and how she used to crave a slow down, but now appreciates the hustle & bustle.
She shares how she uses cleaning as therapy, what it's like being a female CEO, how using emotion can be a strength in business, and lastly but importantly, a deep dive into Laura's experience with imposter syndrome and her tips for beating it.
I know you'll love this episode so be sure to share it with someone who will too! You can find out more about KIC on their website here, or connect with Laura on IG @Laura.henshaw or on TikTok.

Today’s episode is inspired by a conversation I’ve had with one of you Balancers. Their painpoint? Dealing with the inevitable sacrifices that come with change. Even when we know and feel a change is necessary, the fall out or collateral damage from change, can be really hard to work through. Having undertaken a LOT of change this year myself, sacrificing my identity, career trajectory, money and so on, are all things I have felt.
Today I share my thoughts on what these sacrifices mean on our journey and path and how to deal with them PLUS a cool morning activity you can do every day (under 1 min) to keep your why/purpose front and centre.
To check out our dedicated episode on Comparison you can find it here. Do share this episode with someone that comes to mind when I say change and sacrifice!

Today I am rejoined by the beautiful and talented Iris Smit who is the founder and brains behind The Quick Flick brand. Today I get the chance to ask Iris about all the incredible things that have happened since we last had her on the show (the link to our previous interview is here).
Wrapped in this is a convo around what working while travelling taught her and why its something that is NOT for either of us, how to schedule in and prioritise self care so it's not forgotten about, how she enjoys and embraces time alone and how she found self growth in her business journey. She also shares the process of launching in Coles, how she faces online criticism and lastly, the best business advice you'll hear all week!
Be sure to connect with Iris on IG @irisjade and on TikTok.

Lately I’ve been speaking with a lot of people who are either quite new on the self growth journey OR are constantly looking for ways to do better for themselves. I have been on my self discovery journey for I’d say around 3 years now and there are somethings I originally thought would “improve” or “get better” which I’ve now learned are just a part of the self growth journey.
I think it’s a really useful discussion to flag these things especially for those of you navigating this for the first time and really feeling quite alone.
If you’ve been loving this content and want to keep seeing it, let us know by dropping a review or rating wherever you’re listening it would mean the world to me and helps us continue to grow the show!
