  • E138 - 10 Things Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) Do Differently

Today we talk about what highly sensitive people do differently and how they experience things differently in life.

Due to the increased perception, we remember, the so-called increased sensory-processing sensitivity, HSPs behave differently in some situations than non-HSPs.
And at first, this can seem strange to others. But the highly sensitive person him or herself can also be insecure about this.
Their own needs are then questioned and not infrequently denied.

  • E137 - The Highly Sensitive Man: Why Male HSPs Deny Their Own Reality

I was shocked I couldn't find anything on the internet about the highly sensitive trait in men. So I decided to create one of the first videos about the topic. So here we go: The highly sensitive male.

Act like a man for once!  You are too sensitive for a man! Don’t be so emotional! That’s not masculine!

Have you ever heard those phrases or told them yourself again and again in your head? Congratulations! Chances are high you are a highly sensitive man. Today we talk about why most Male HSPs constantly are denying their own reality and why this creates a lot of suffering in their life.

  • E136 - 15 Problems Only Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) Will Understand

Why do I need more time to recover than others?

Why do I get overaroused so fast? Why do I tend to cry that easily? Am I the only one with these problems?

This is a question that highly sensitive people in particular ask themselves again and again in situations where they find themselves confronted with their individual Sensory-Processing Sensitivity problems. Today we talk about problems only highly sensitive people will have. We'll discuss 15 special issues of HSPs.

  • E135 - Why Most Highly Sensitive People (HSP) Don’t Know They're HSP

I estimate that 80 to 90 % of all HSPs still know nothing about this characteristic and are groping in the dark. Being different, not being able to classify yourself and always having to justify your special needs creates suffering.  To finally be able to give the child a name feels liberating. But why is that? Why do most highly sensitive people have no idea about their trait? And how does it actually feel to be highly sensitive?

  • E134 - 4 Clear Signs You're a Highly Sensitive Person

As a highly sensitive person myself, I figured out the 4 biggest signs of highly sensitive people (HSPs). Here are 4 signs, you're a highly sensitive person:

    1) You have a narrow comfort zone

    2) You might experience rapid overstimulation
    3) You have a long time of reverberation
    4) You have an individual perception in different areas.

  • I Resurrected My Podcast To Talk About Mental Health..

I resurrected my podcast after 128 (+ a couple never released) episodes to talk about mental health.

I want to make mental health as a part of the overall health more understandable and accessible. But as I am not a certified mental health expert or therapist myself, I want to give a clients perspective on different topics like high sensitivity, modern psychoanalytical therapy and related topics and to talk about my own experiences and things I’ve learned while facing different challenges.

Also, and that is way more important, in the future I want to invite genuine experts from the field, therapists, scientists and psychologists to talk with them, ask them questions, give them a stage here on this podcast and share these talks with you.

What I don’t want to is giving specific advice or recommendations on mental health topics. My goal is more to create awareness and consciousness for selected psychological subjects.

And who knows, where this will lead in the future. Maybe we develop to a holistic health and science podcast here, that combines both fields, the physiological fitness and the psychological health.
