While the title may infer you are healing your relationship with your partner…that is actually not the intent of this course that I talk about in todays Podcast. This course is to help you heal your relationship with yourself if you're in a toxic relationship.
In this episode, I break down what I offer in the Relationship Recovery course.

30 episodes and 1000+ downloads later and Season 1 is complete! I didn't intend to have a "season" but I am feeling a need (and want) to refocus the podcast, work on my episodes, and plan out what I will talk about next season.
This has been a really great learning process for me. I totally ripped off the bandaid and just started doing it. I leaned on the information I've learned, what I've gone through, and trusted that if I keep showing up, everything will align.
Season 2 will begin in October! Until then, I will be sharing some clips from the most popular episodes on my Instagram ❤️

You are likely an empathetic person. You have compassion when you hurt someone. You have feelings and don't want to hurt people. This is exactly what the Narcissist takes advantage of. This episode will help you learn how to see the whole picture so you can protect yourself.

Other people will claim to know what is best and give you advice based on their history and perspective, but most people, who have not been through emotional abuse, will not understand emotional abuse.
I hope this episode is a permission slip for you to let the opinions of others fade -- so you can focus on your own reality.

I have been traveling and a little MIA. I give you a quick update on where I've been, why Clarity Calls are so hard to book right now, and I go over the key books that helped me identify emotional abuse so I could heal.
This is a list of the books:
"Why Does He Do That?" - Lundy Bancroft
The Verbally Abusive Relationship - Patricia Evans
Whole Again: Healing Your Heart and Rediscovering Your True Self After Toxic Relationships and Emotional Abuse - Jackson MacKenzie
Should I Stay or Should I Go - Lundy Bancroft
Women Who Love Too Much - Robin Norwood

You know something is wrong. You just can’t always explain what it is.
Why do you keep apologizing when you didn’t do anything wrong? Why can one nice interaction make you question…
You Are Not Crazy is a podcast about making sense of the relationship experiences that don’t make sense.
I’m Jessica Knight, an emotional abuse coach and survivor. I take the confusing, contradictory, often ordinary-looking moments inside emotional abuse, coercive control, trauma bonds, narcissistic relationships, and high-conflict separation and slow them down so we can understand what is actually happening.
We look beyond labels and individual incidents to the patterns underneath them: what a behavior does, what it gets you to do in response, what happens when you resist it, and what you eventually learn to believe about yourself.
Because emotional abuse doesn’t only hurt. It can change the way you communicate, make decisions, respond to conflict, interpret other people’s behavior, and trust your own perception.
Here, we talk about gaslighting, manipulation, trauma bonding, intermittent reinforcement, coercive control, high-conflict divorce, post-separation abuse, difficult co-parenting dynamics, and the process of rebuilding self-trust after a relationship that taught you to doubt yourself.
But this isn’t a podcast about diagnosing every difficult person or telling you that every conflict is abuse. It’s about understanding the pattern.
What happened? What did it make you do? Why did your response make sense at the time? And what changes once you can finally see the mechanism underneath it?
You are not crazy. There is an explanation.
Let’s find it.
