Today’s podcast guest is Elisa, a member of Molly's All In Intensive coaching program. In this episode, Elisa talks with Molly about how she finally let go of diet culture's obsession with quick results and developed a sustainable relationship with food that is free of chaos and fear.
With coaching, self-determination, and a supportive community, Elisa's relationship with food has changed from obsessive and out of control to quiet and peaceful. She shares how the support of the group and professional guidance allowed her to beat the resistance she had towards changing her relationship with food and recovery. She will also discuss how this change led her to develop a more compassionate relationship with herself.
Getting into a peaceful relationship with yourself and food is important because it's a relationship you'll have for the rest of your life. Change doesn't happen overnight, despite what diet vultures say. The reality is that change affects everyone differently and at different times, but learning how to feel your best with food and your health long-term is worth the effort. Elisa is a beautiful example of the long-lasting change that can occur when we honor our truths and proceed at our own pace.
