Uk: У Києві весна принесла трохи тепла, але й багато нових викликів.
En: In Kyiv, spring brought a bit of warmth but also many new challenges.

Uk: Ярослав, Оксана і Максим зібралися в підземному бункері в центрі міста.
En: Yaroslav, Oksana, and Maksym gathered in the underground bunker in the city center.

Uk: Похмуре світло лампи ледве освітлювало ряди з консервами та пакунками круп.
En: The gloomy light of the lamp barely illuminated the rows of canned goods and packages of grains.

Uk: Ярослав завжди дбав про свою родину.
En: Yaroslav always cared for his family.

Uk: Він був обережним і передбачливим.
En: He was cautious and prudent.

Uk: Зараз, напередодні Великодня, він думав про те, як забезпечити рідних усім необхідним.

En: Yaroslav paused.

Uk: Він добре знав Залізняків.
En: He knew the Zalizniaks well.

Uk: Це була хороша сім'я, завжди готова допомогти іншим.
En: They were a good family, always ready to help others.

Uk: Його серце стислося.
En: His heart ached.

Uk: Він знав, що кошики його сім’ї можуть бути повними, але душа підказувала щось інше.
En: He knew that his family's baskets might be full, but his conscience was telling him something else.

Uk: “Ми повинні поділитися,” — тихо сказав Ярослав, дивлячись на Оксану, коли вона повернулася з пакетом гречки.
En: "We must share," Yaroslav said quietly, looking at Oksana when she returned with a package of buckwheat.
