Story Transcript:

Ja: 東京の自然史博物館はいつもにぎやかです。
En: The Tokyo Natural History Museum is always bustling.

Ja: 冬の寒さから逃れるように、多くの人が訪れます。
En: Many people visit, as if to escape the winter cold.

Ja: 巨大な恐竜の骨格が並び、好奇心いっぱいの訪問者が館内を歩きます。
En: Giant dinosaur skeletons are lined up, and curious visitors wander through the halls.

Ja: ある日、興奮した表情のユウトが友達のカナとナオキと一緒に博物館にやってきました。
En: One day, an excited Yuto came to the museum with his friends, Kana and Naoki.

Ja: 「ここだ！」とユウトが叫ぶように言いました。
En: "Here it is!" Yuto exclaimed.

Ja: ユウトはたくさんの博物館のお土産の中から、小さな丸い物を見つけました。
En: From among many museum souvenirs, Yuto found a small round object.

Ja: それはまるで恐竜の卵のようでした。
En: It looked just like a dinosaur egg.

Ja: 「すごい、これは恐竜の卵だよ！」ユウトは目を輝かせて話します。
En: "Amazing, this is a dinosaur egg!" Yuto spoke with sparkling eyes.

Ja: でも、カナは少し疑わしそうに首をかしげました。
En: But Kana tilted her head slightly, looking a bit doubtful.

Ja: 「本物の卵だったら、こんなところにあるわけないよ。」カナが冷静に答えました。
En: "If it were a real egg, it wouldn't just be lying here," Kana replied calmly.

Ja: ナオキは少し離れた場所のお菓子売り場に気を取られていましたが、友達の議論に戻りました。
En: Naoki, who had been distracted by a nearby candy counter, returned to the conversation with his friends.

Ja: 「ユウト、もし本当の卵ならどうする？」ナオキはニコニコしながら言いました。
En: "Hey Yuto, what would you do if it was a real egg?" Naoki asked with a smile.

Ja: ユウトは本気です。
En: Yuto was serious.

Ja: 彼は何とかして本物かどうかを確かめたいと思いました。
En: He wanted somehow to confirm whether it was real.

Ja: 「専門家に見てもらおう。もし本物なら、すごいことになるよ！」そう言って、ユウトは決心して博物館の受付に向かいました。
En: "Let's show it to an expert. If it's genuine, that would be amazing!" Saying this, Yuto decisively headed to the museum's reception desk.

Ja: 受付の女性は親切で、彼を専門の学芸員に案内しました。
En: The woman at the reception was kind and guided him to a specialist curator.
