Fr: Le soleil brillait fort au-dessus du Jardin du Luxembourg.
En: The sun was shining brightly above the Luxembourg Garden.

Fr: Les fleurs étaient colorées et les oiseaux chantaient gaiement.
En: The flowers were colorful, and the birds were singing cheerfully.

Fr: Marie, Luc, et Élodie se promenaient dans le parc.
En: Marie, Luc, and Élodie were strolling through the park.

Fr: Ils riaient et discutaient de leur journée.
En: They were laughing and talking about their day.

Fr: Soudain, un cri d'enfant résonna.
En: Suddenly, a child's cry echoed.

Fr: Élodie tendit un mouchoir à l'enfant pour essuyer ses larmes.
En: Élodie handed the child a handkerchief to wipe his tears.

Fr: "Comment tu t'appelles ?"
En: "What's your name?"

Fr: demanda-t-elle.
En: she asked.

Fr: "Je m'appelle Paul," répondit le garçon en sanglotant.

En: You have been wonderful."

Fr: Paul se leva prudemment.
En: Paul stood up cautiously.

Fr: "Merci, vous tous," dit-il en faisant un petit signe de la main.
En: "Thank you, all of you," he said, waving a little.

Fr: Marie, Luc et Élodie sourirent et firent un signe en retour.
En: Marie, Luc, and Élodie smiled and waved back.

Fr: Ils continuèrent leur promenade avec le cœur léger, contents d'avoir pu aider un enfant en détresse.
En: They continued their walk with light hearts, happy to have been able to help a child in distress.
