Story Transcript:

Sv: Vägen längs E4:an sträckte sig framför Elin och Mats.
En: The road along the E4 stretched out before Elin and Mats.

Sv: Träden runt vägen var klädda i höstens vibrerande färger.
En: The trees surrounding the road were dressed in autumn's vibrant colors.

Sv: Elin tittade ut genom bilfönstret och såg löven dansa i vinden.
En: Elin gazed out the car window, watching the leaves dance in the wind.

Sv: Hon drömde sig bort, bort från hennes enformiga vardag.
En: She drifted away in her dreams, away from her monotonous everyday life.

Sv: "Mats," sa hon försiktigt.
En: "Mats," she said cautiously.

Sv: "Tänk om vi tar en annan väg idag?"
En: "What if we took a different route today?"

Sv: "Vi har ju en plan," svarade Mats.
En: "We have a plan," Mats replied.

Sv: "Vi har bestämt var vi ska stanna och när."
En: "We decided where we would stop and when."

Sv: Men Elin kunde inte släppa tanken.
En: But Elin couldn't shake the idea.

Sv: Hon kände ett starkt sug efter äventyr.
En: She felt a strong pull towards adventure.

Sv: Vid nästa avfart stannade de för att sträcka på benen.
En: At the next exit, they stopped to stretch their legs.

Sv: Elin kände en undran i hjärtat.
En: Elin felt a sense of wonder in her heart.

Sv: De tog av från E4:an, in på den smala vägen kantad av gyllene träd.
En: They turned off the E4, onto the narrow road lined with golden trees.

Sv: Det kändes som en dröm för Elin.
En: It felt like a dream to Elin.

Sv: Hon kände sig fri.
En: She felt free.

Sv: Plötsligt stannade bilen.
En: Suddenly, the car stopped.

Sv: Det var tyst.
En: It was silent.

Sv: Mats försökte starta motorn igen, men inget hände.
En: Mats tried to start the engine again, but nothing happened.

Sv: "Typiskt," sa Mats frustrerat.
En: "Typical," Mats said, frustrated.

Sv: "Det är därför vi borde ha hållt oss på den stora vägen."
En: "This is why we should have stayed on the main road."

Sv: Elin kände ett stygn av skuld, men också ett uns av uppror.
