Ca: La brisa marina de la Costa Brava feia brillar la llum daurada del matí.
En: The sea breeze of the Costa Brava made the golden morning light shine.

Ca: Les onades es trencaven suaument contra les roques de l'escenari perfecte d'una comunitat costanera i tranquil·la.
En: The waves gently broke against the rocks of the perfect scene of a peaceful coastal community.

Ca: Aina observava aquest paisatge des de la finestra de la seva habitació, omplint els pulmons amb l'olor del mar una vegada més.
En: Aina observed this landscape from her bedroom window, filling her lungs with the smell of the sea once more.

Ca: Al seu darrere, les maletes estaven preparades, esperant el moment de partir.
En: Behind her, the suitcases were ready, waiting for the moment to leave.

Ca: Aina havia crescut en aquesta comunitat petita, on cada casa estava decorada amb flors vibrants i on els veïns es coneixien des de sempre.

Ca: "Suposo que sí", va respondre Aina, mirant enrere cap a la seva habitació buida.
En: "I suppose so," Aina replied, looking back at her empty room.

Ca: Un munt de records li passaven pel cap, totes aquelles tardes a la platja, festes al poble, i els diumenges tranquils amb la família.
En: A flood of memories passed through her mind, all those afternoons at the beach, village festivals, and quiet Sundays with the family.

Ca: Martí, el seu germà petit, va arribar corrent amb una petita caixa.
En: Martí, her little brother, came running with a small box.

Ca: "Aina, això és per tu", va dir, entregant-li la caixa amb mans tremoloses.
En: "Aina, this is for you," he said, handing her the box with trembling hands.

Ca: Era un collaret fet amb petites petxines que havien recollit junts durant l’estiu passat.
En: It was a necklace made of small shells they had collected together last summer.

Ca: El cor d'Aina es va estrènyer.
En: Aina's heart tightened.

Ca: D'una banda, volia portar-se un tros d'aquest lloc estimat amb ella, però per altre costat sabia que aquesta era l'oportunitat per començar de zero a Barcelona.

Ca: Decidida, es va agenollar davant de Martí.

Ca: "Gràcies, petit", li va dir, abraçant-lo fortament.

Ca: "Sempre tindré tothom al meu cor, no importa on sigui.

Ca: "Els tres van sortir cap a l'entrada de la comunitat.

Ca: La Laia li va agafar la mà a Aina.
