Pl: W średniowiecznej restauracji panował gwar i śmiech.
En: In the medieval restaurant, there was a buzz and laughter all around.

Pl: Wielkie sztandary wisiały u sufitu, ozdobione herbami wymyślonych rodów.
En: Large banners hung from the ceiling, adorned with the coats of arms of fictitious families.

Pl: Świeciły się świece, a w powietrzu unosił się zapach pieczonego mięsa i przypraw.
En: Candles were glowing, and the air was filled with the aroma of roasted meat and spices.

Pl: Przy jednym ze stołów siedział Janusz, Kasia i Piotr, który pełnił rolę króla wydarzenia.
En: Sitting at one of the tables were Janusz, Kasia, and Piotr, who assumed the role of the king of the event.

Pl: Kasia i Janusz przyszli, żeby obejrzeć przedstawienie i dobrze się bawić.
En: Kasia and Janusz had come to watch the performance and have a good time.

Pl: Piotr, jako król, podszedł do nich, machając królewską laską.
En: Piotr, as the king, approached them, waving a royal scepter.

Pl: "Przygotujcie się na wielkie wydarzenie!"
En: "Prepare for a grand event!"

Pl: powiedział z powagą, choć wszyscy wiedzieli, że traktował swoją rolę trochę zbyt serio.
En: he said solemnly, although everyone knew he was taking his role a bit too seriously.

Pl: Nadeszła chwila na "ślub" – zainscenizowany moment wieczoru.
En: The moment came for the "wedding" — the staged highlight of the evening.

Pl: Wszystkie oczy skierowane były na parę młodą.
En: All eyes were on the bride and groom.

Pl: Kiedy "panna młoda" przymierzała się do rzutu bukietem, Janusz nachylił się do Kasi i szepnął: "Złapię go, a to przyniesie mi szczęście!"
En: When the "bride" was getting ready to toss the bouquet, Janusz leaned toward Kasia and whispered, "I’ll catch it, and it will bring me luck!"

Pl: Kasia uśmiechnęła się z przekąsem.
En: Kasia smiled wryly.

Pl: "Nie będzie tak łatwo, Janusz.
En: "It won't be that easy, Janusz.

Pl: Ja też będę próbować!"
En: I'm going to try too!"

Pl: Janusz miał przygotowany specjalny plan.
En: Janusz had a special plan.

Pl: W kieszeni miał przemycony mały, nowoczesny podbierak na motyle.
En: In his pocket, he had smuggled a small, modern butterfly net.

Pl: "Nikt nie powiedział, że nie możemy używać nowych metod," zażartował.
En: "Nobody said we can't use new methods," he joked.

Pl: Gdy bukiet leciał w powietrzu, Janusz porwał się z miejsca, machając siecią.
En: As the bouquet flew through the air, Janusz sprang up, waving his net.

Pl: Wydawało się, że czas zwolnił.
En: Time seemed to slow down.

Pl: Bukiet pochylił się w stronę Kasi, ale Januszowi udało się go złapać w ostatniej chwili!
En: The bouquet tilted towards Kasia, but Janusz managed to catch it at the last moment!

Pl: Niestety, w ferworze skoku przewrócił tacę z udawanymi kurczakami, która stała na stole, co wywołało śmiech i aplauz całej sali.
En: Unfortunately, in the excitement of his leap, he knocked over a tray of pretend chickens that was on the table, which provoked laughter and applause from the entire room.

Pl: Zamieszanie, jajcarski krzyk Piotra jako króla: "Nasze królestwo ogłasza nowego rycerza bukietu!"
En: The commotion, Piotr's playful kingly shout: "Our kingdom declares a new knight of the bouquet!"

Pl: Włożył Januszowi na głowę papierową koronę, co wywołało jeszcze większe brawa.
En: He placed a paper crown on Janusz's head, eliciting even more applause.

Pl: Janusz spojrzał na Kasię, która trzymała się za brzuch ze śmiechu.
En: Janusz looked at Kasia, who was clutching her stomach in laughter.

Pl: "No, chyba się udało," powiedział, choć nie dlatego że złapał bukiet.
En: "Well, I guess I did it," he said, though not because he had caught the bouquet.

Pl: "Może szczęście nie jest aż tak ważne, jeśli można się tak bawić."
En: "Maybe luck isn't as important if you can have this much fun."

Pl: Kasia poklepała go po ramieniu.
En: Kasia patted him on the shoulder.

Pl: "Nie zawsze wygrywają ci, którzy najlepiej planują.
En: "The ones who best plan don't always win.

Pl: Czasem wystarczy się dobrze bawić."
En: Sometimes it's enough to just have a good time."

Pl: I tak, pośród śmiechu i dzielenia radości, Janusz zrozumiał, że więcej jest warte spontaniczność niż wygrana.
En: And so, amidst the laughter and shared joy, Janusz realized that spontaneity is worth more than winning.

Pl: W końcu o to chodziło w tych średniowiecznych zabawach: o zapomnienie się i cieszenie chwilą.
En: After all, that was the point of these medieval games: to lose oneself and enjoy the moment.
