De: Vor vielen, vielen Jahren, als die Sonne auf Berlin hinabschien, war da ein Mädchen namens Hannah und ein Junge namens Maximilian.
En: Many, many years ago, when the sun shone down on Berlin, there was a girl named Hannah and a boy named Maximilian.

De: Sie waren gute Freunde und liebten es, zusammen im Tiergarten zu spielen.
En: They were good friends and loved to play together in the Tiergarten.

De: Der Tag fing ganz normal an, aber er war randvoll mit Spaß und Spannung.
En: The day started out normal, but it was filled with fun and excitement.

De: Tiergarten war ein großer Park in der Mitte von Berlin.
En: Tiergarten was a big park in the center of Berlin.

De: Dort waren viele Tiere, Bäume und Teiche.
En: There were many animals, trees, and ponds.

De: Maximilian streckte die Hände aus und sagte: "Hannah, schau!
En: Maximilian reached out his hands and said, "Hannah, look!

De: " Maximilian schaute sich um und entdeckte einen alten, hohlen Baum nicht weit von ihnen.
En: Maximilian looked around and spotted an old, hollow tree not far from them.

De: Sie rannten zu dem Baum und versteckten sich in der Höhle.
En: They ran to the tree and hid in the hollow.

De: Es fing an zu regnen.
En: It started to rain.

De: Das Prasseln der Regentropfen auf Blättern und Boden war wie Musik.
En: The sound of raindrops on leaves and the ground was like music.

De: Maximilian und Hannah grinsten sich an.
En: Maximilian and Hannah grinned at each other.

De: Sie liebten dieses Geräusch.
En: They loved this sound.

De: Aber dann kam ein Problem.
En: But then a problem arose.

De: Sie hatten ihr Picknick draußen gelassen!
En: They had left their picnic out in the open!

De: "Unser Essen wird nass", sagte Hannah traurig.
En: "Our food will get wet," said Hannah sadly.

De: Maximilian sah sie an und sagte: "Keine Sorge, wir werden etwas tun.
En: Maximilian looked at her and said, "Don't worry, we'll figure something out."

De: "Er stand auf und rannte, trotz des Regens, zu der Decke, packte das Essen ein und brachte es zurück in die Baumhöhle.
En: He stood up and ran, despite the rain, to the blanket, packed up the food, and brought it back to the tree hollow.

De: Hannah freute sich sehr.
En: Hannah was very happy.

De: "Du bist tapfer, Maximilian!
En: "You're brave, Maximilian!"

De: " sagte sie und lachte.
En: she said and laughed.

De: Sie saßen dort, aßen und lauschten dem Regen, bis er aufhörte.
En: They sat there, ate, and listened to the rain until it stopped.

De: Der Baum hatte sie trocken gehalten.
En: The tree had kept them dry.

De: Als der Regen vorbei war, kamen sie aus dem Baum.
En: When the rain was over, they emerged from the tree.

De: Alles roch frisch und das Gras war glänzend.
En: Everything smelled fresh and the grass was glistening.

De: "Das war ein großartiges Abenteuer", sagte Maximilian.
En: "That was a great adventure," said Maximilian.

De: Hannah nickte.
En: Hannah nodded.

De: Sie hatten den Tag wirklich genossen, trotz des Regens.
En: They had truly enjoyed the day, despite the rain.
