Uk: Зимовий день в Києві був морозним, а повітря наповнене ароматом снігу.
En: A winter day in Kyiv was frosty, and the air was filled with the aroma of snow.

Uk: Лідія, теперішня аспірантка з історії мистецтв, вирушила до Києво-Печерської Лаври.
En: Lidiia, a current graduate student in art history, set off for the Kyivan Cave Monastery.

Uk: Велична територія Лаври заслуговувала її уваги, особливо на Різдво, коли світло свічок розсіювало вечірній присмерк.
En: The grand territory of the Lavra deserved her attention, especially on Christmas when the light of candles dispelled the evening dusk.

Uk: Лідія приїхала для дослідження релігійних ікон, але у глибині душі шукала щось більше — зв'язок із власними коріннями.
En: Lidiia arrived for research on religious icons, but deep down she was searching for something more—a connection with her own roots.
