Story Transcript:

Ja: 空は白、雪も白。
En: The sky was white, and the snow was white.

Ja: 地平線はどこか、わかりにくい。
En: It was difficult to tell where the horizon was.

Ja: 風はどこまでも吹いて、寒い空気が呼吸を凍らせた。
En: The wind blew endlessly, freezing the cold air as they breathed.

Ja: ケンタ、ヒロシ、アイコの三人は、冬の北極ツンドラに立っていた。
En: The three of them, Kenta, Hiroshi, and Aiko, stood on the winter Arctic tundra.

Ja: 氷の上には、厳しい寒さとともに大きな使命があった。
En: On the ice, a great mission awaited them along with the harsh cold.

Ja: 「今日は節分だね」とアイコは少し微笑みながら言った。
En: "Today is Setsubun, isn't it?" Aiko said with a slight smile.
