Sv: Astrid satt i sitt vardagsrum i Stockholm.
En: Astrid sat in her living room in Stockholm.

Sv: Runt omkring henne låg många delar av vad som skulle bli en bokhylla från IKEA.
En: Around her lay many pieces of what would become an IKEA bookshelf.

Sv: Men hon hade tappat bort instruktionerna.
En: But she had misplaced the instructions.

Sv: Hon kände att detta kunde bli svårt.
En: She felt that this could be difficult.

Sv: Hon plockade upp en träbit från golvet.
En: She picked up a piece of wood from the floor.

Sv: Den såg ut som en rak pinne.
En: It looked like a straight stick.

Sv: Hon hittade en till.
En: She found another one.

Sv: Kanske de skulle passa ihop.
En: Maybe they would fit together.

Sv: Hon försökte skruva ihop dem.
En: She tried to screw them together.

Sv: Men det gick inte.
En: But it didn't work.

Sv: Astrid tittade på klockan.
En: Astrid looked at the clock.

Sv: Hon hade kommit hem från jobbet för bara en timme sedan.
En: She had only come home from work an hour ago.

Sv: Men nu var det midnatt.
En: But now it was midnight.

Sv: Hon var trött men hon ville bli klar.
En: She was tired but she wanted to finish.

Sv: Hon ringde sin bror Erik.
En: She called her brother Erik.

Sv: Han var bra på att bygga saker.
En: He was good at building things.

Sv: Men han sa bara: "Låt mig vila, Astrid.
En: But he just said, "Let me rest, Astrid.

Sv: Ring IKEA.
En: Call IKEA."

Sv: " Men Astrid ville inte ge upp.
En: But Astrid didn't want to give up.

Sv: Hon ville klara detta själv.
En: She wanted to do this on her own.

Sv: Så hon fortsatte.
En: So she continued.

Sv: Hon hittade två delar som passade.
En: She found two pieces that fit.

Sv: Hon kände sig glad.
En: She felt happy.

Sv: Men sen var det svårt igen.
En: But then it was difficult again.

Sv: Efter en lång tid stod bokhyllan där.
En: After a long time, the bookshelf was there.

Sv: Men någonting såg fel ut.
En: But something looked wrong.

Sv: Det var inte rätt form.
En: It wasn't the right shape.

Sv: Astrid tittade på den felaktiga bokhyllan.
En: Astrid looked at the faulty bookshelf.

Sv: Hon var trött och ledsen.
En: She was tired and sad.

Sv: Men då ringde hennes telefon.
En: But then her phone rang.

Sv: Det var Erik.
En: It was Erik.

Sv: Han sa: "Astrid, jag är ledsen.
En: He said, "Astrid, I'm sorry.

Sv: Jag ska hjälpa dig.
En: I'll help you."

Sv: " Astrid kände sig lättad.
En: Astrid felt relieved.

Sv: Hon hade inte klarat det själv.
En: She couldn't have done it on her own.

Sv: Erik kom över.
En: Erik came over.

Sv: Han gick igenom delarna med Astrid.
En: He went through the pieces with Astrid.

Sv: Efter en stund förstod Astrid var felet var.
En: After a while, Astrid understood what the mistake was.

Sv: De fixade det tillsammans.
En: They fixed it together.

Sv: Då stod bokhyllan där.
En: Then the bookshelf was there.

Sv: Rak och snygg.
En: Straight and neat.

Sv: Astrid kände sig stolt.
