Story Transcript:

Uk: Перші сніжинки вже тануть на підвіконні, а в коледжному гуртожитку кипить підготовка до Маланки.
En: The first snowflakes are already melting on the window sill, and in the college dormitory, preparations for Malanka are in full swing.

Uk: У коридорах луною розносяться сміх і мелодії колядок, кімнати прикрашені витинанками та вишитими рушниками.
En: Laughter and carol melodies echo through the corridors, rooms are decorated with vytynanky and embroidered towels.

Uk: Зима принесла свої чари, та не всі студенти насолоджуються святковим настроєм.
En: Winter has brought its magic, but not all students are enjoying the festive mood.

Uk: Юлія, Олекс і Максим змушені залишитися в своїй кімнаті над проектом, дедлайн якого було встановлено точно на день Маланки.
En: Yulia, Oles and Maksym are forced to stay in their room working on a project, with the deadline set exactly on the day of Malanka.

Uk: Юлія хвилюється, вона хоче встигнути все: і проект зданий, і на вечірці побувати.
En: Yulia is anxious, wanting to achieve everything: submit the project and attend the party.

Uk: Максим старанно працює, зосереджений на кожній деталі, а ось Олекс, схрестивши руки, більше переймається підготовкою гирляндів і костюмів.
En: Maksym works diligently, focused on every detail, while Oles, arms crossed, is more concerned with preparing garlands and costumes.

Uk: "Олеже, ти взагалі пам'ятаєш, чим ми зараз займаємось?
En: "Oleshe, do you even remember what we're working on right now?"

Uk: " – нетерпляче запитала Юлія, кидуючи на нього суворий погляд.
En: Yulia asked impatiently, throwing him a stern look.

Uk: "Тільки не дивись так, у нас ще є час", – відповів він безтурботно, погравшися в телефоні.
En: "Just don't look at me like that, we still have time," he replied nonchalantly, playing on his phone.

Uk: Юлія зітхнула: хлопець зовсім не відчував натиску часу, який висів над ними дамокловим мечем.
En: Yulia sighed: the boy didn't feel the pressure of time, which hung over them like a sword of Damocles.

Uk: Спори тривали недовго.
En: The disputes didn't last long.

Uk: "Олеже, ми поділимо роботу, ти все ж підеш на свято.
En: "Oleshe, we'll divide the work, you can go to the celebration.

Uk: Але тільки після того, як зробиш свою частину", – запропонувала Юлія, намагаючись знайти компроміс.
En: But only after you complete your part," Yulia proposed, trying to find a compromise.

Uk: Ніч Маланки.
En: The night of Malanka.

Uk: Холи гуртожитку вже сяяли світлом вогнів, і навіть підлога гуділа від студенської ходи.
En: The dormitory halls were already shining with light, and even the floor hummed with students' footsteps.

Uk: Юлія і Максим завершили свої частини передчасно, але Олекс усе ще не приступав до роботи.
En: Yulia and Maksym completed their parts ahead of time, but Oles still hadn't started working.

Uk: Юлія почала хвилюватися, їй потрібно вирішити — залишитися і допомогти чи святкувати.
En: Yulia started to worry, needing to decide whether to stay and help or celebrate.

Uk: Після короткої зупинки на сходах, вона вирішила: трохи побуде на святі, але з чітким планом у голові.
En: After a brief stop on the stairs, she decided: she'll spend a bit of time at the celebration but with a clear plan in her mind.

Uk: Олекс, відчуваючи провину, вирішив, що потрібно виправити ситуацію.
En: Oles, feeling guilty, decided he needed to fix the situation.

Uk: Він зітхнув і, поглянувши на Юлію, сказав: "Добре, я закінчу роботу сьогодні".
En: He sighed and, glancing at Yulia, said: "Fine, I'll finish the work today."

Uk: Свято в розгарі, але Олекс повертається до кімнати і, натхнений Юлін удавом та Максимовою відповідальністю, виконує свою частину роботи.
En: The celebration was in full swing, but Oles returned to the room and, inspired by Yulia's example and Maksym's responsibility, completed his part of the work.

Uk: Юлія повертається незабаром, і, допомагаючи йому з останніми дрібницями, вони разом завершують проект.
En: Yulia returned soon after and, helping him with the last details, together they finished the project.

Uk: Коли ранок Маланки приносить нове свято, Юлія розуміє, що можна встигнути і зосередитись на важливому, і відчути радість традицій.
En: When the morning of Malanka brought a new celebration, Yulia realized that it's possible to both focus on the important and feel the joy of traditions.

Uk: А Олекс, навчившись цінувати планування, з готовністю обіцяв не повторювати помилки.
En: And Oles, having learned to value planning, readily promised not to repeat his mistakes.

Uk: Робота здана, свято вдалося, гуртожиток знову дихав миром.
En: The work was submitted, the celebration was a success, and the dormitory breathed peacefully once again.

Uk: Зима за вікном тихо прикривала минулі турботи білим снігом, а в душах студентів залишалося тепло дружби і порозуміння.
En: The winter outside quietly covered past worries with white snow, and warmth from friendship and understanding remained in the students' hearts.
