Story Transcript:

Ja: 春の暖かい風が吹く日、大学の寮では特別な準備が進んでいました。
En: On a day when the warm spring breeze was blowing, special preparations were underway at the university dormitory.

Ja: 窓の外には、満開の桜の木々が優雅に風に揺れています。
En: Outside the window, cherry blossom trees in full bloom were gracefully swaying in the wind.

Ja: 大学の恒例行事、桜祭りが間近に迫っていたからです。
En: This was because the university's annual event, the Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival), was fast approaching.

Ja: 内気な大学生、由紀はベッドに座りながら窓の外を見つめていました。
En: The shy university student, Yuki, was sitting on his bed, gazing out the window.

Ja: 桜祭りは毎年、彼が心から楽しみにしているものでしたが、いつも遠くから静かに眺めているだけでした。
En: Although the Sakura Matsuri was something he looked forward to every year, he always watched quietly from a distance.

Ja: 「今年は違うことをしてみたいな」と彼は思いました。
En: "I want to do something different this year," he thought.

Ja: その時、彼のルームメイトのサトルが賑やかに部屋に飛び込んできました。
En: At that moment, his roommate, Satoru, burst into the room energetically.

En: "Hey Yuki!

Ja: 一緒に桜祭りの準備を手伝わないか？
En: Want to help prepare for the Sakura Matsuri?"

Ja: サトルはイベントを企画するのが大好きで、いつも熱心にみんなを誘っていました。

Ja: 由紀は少しためらいましたが、新しい友達を作るチャンスだと思い直し、手伝うことにしました。

Ja: 由紀は少し緊張しながらも、素早くラウンジの家具を動かし始めました。
En: Feeling a bit nervous, he quickly started moving the lounge furniture.

Ja: それを見て、みんなも手伝い、内側のスペースが居心地の良い場所になりました。
En: Seeing this, everyone else helped out too, turning the indoor space into a comfortable gathering place.

Ja: 雨音をバックに、寮の中でパーティーは再開しました。
En: With the sound of the rain in the background, the party resumed inside the dormitory.
