Sv: En solig söndageftermiddag, på en parkeringsplats full av lampor blå och gula.
En: On a sunny Sunday afternoon, in a parking lot full of blue and yellow lights.

Sv: Lars steg ur bilen, ivrig men nervös.
En: Lars stepped out of the car, excited but nervous.

Sv: Han var på IKEA.
En: He was at IKEA.

Sv: Det var dags att välja nya möbler för hans rum.
En: It was time to choose new furniture for his room.

Sv: Inne på IKEA, Lars gick runt bland alla olika möbler.
En: Inside IKEA, Lars walked around among all the different furniture.

Sv: Han såg stolar, bord, soffor.
En: He saw chairs, tables, sofas.

Sv: Allt var så snyggt.
En: Everything was so stylish.

Sv: Efter långt letande valde Lars en bokhylla, en skrivbord och en stol.
En: After a long search, Lars chose a bookshelf, a desk, and a chair.

Sv: De var alla i samma fina, mörka trä.
En: They were all in the same beautiful, dark wood.

Sv: Nu var det dags att köpa.
En: Now it was time to buy.

Sv: Lars drog alla paketen till bilen.
En: Lars dragged all the packages to the car.

Sv: De var tunga men han var stark.
En: They were heavy but he was strong.

Sv: Han lastade dem och startade bilen.
En: He loaded them and started the car.

Sv: Hemma var nästa steg.
En: Home was the next step.

Sv: Hemma igen, Lars började montera möblerna.
En: Back home, Lars began assembling the furniture.

Sv: Men snart kom problemet.
En: But soon the problem arose.

En: There were no instructions.

Sv: Just då ringde telefonen.
En: Just then the phone rang.

En: Lars answered.

Sv: På andra sidan luren var hans vän, John.
En: On the other end of the line was his friend, John.

En: He told Lars that he had seen a video on the internet about assembling furniture from IKEA.

En: Lars was happy.
