Uk: Яскраві вогні Львова виблискували на Ринку.
En: The bright lights of Lviv sparkled in the Rynok.

Uk: На вулицях панувала метушня.
En: There was a hustle and bustle on the streets.

Uk: Люди насолоджувалися ароматами цукрової ватри і кави з корицею.
En: People enjoyed the aromas of candy floss and cinnamon coffee.

Uk: Було незвично тепло для зими, але густа атмосфера свята все ще наповнювала повітря.
En: It was unusually warm for winter, but the thick festive atmosphere still filled the air.

Uk: Оксана, обмотавшись шарфом і в рукавицях, стояла біля фонтана зі сніговою гіркою, готуючись до змагання з будівництва сніговиків.
En: Oksana, wrapped in a scarf and mittens, stood by the fountain with a snow slide, preparing for a snowman-building competition.

Uk: Її вирішучість сяяла в очах.
En: Her determination shone in her eyes.

En: "Well, shall we begin?"

Uk: Вона мріяла створити сніговика, якого ніхто ще не бачив.
En: She dreamed of creating a snowman that no one had ever seen.

Uk: Але було одне "але" — снігу ледь вистачало.
En: But there was one "but" — there was barely enough snow.

Uk: Юрій, майстер всіх хитрощів, мав інший план.
En: Yuriy, the master of all tricks, had another plan.

Uk: Він обережно підсунув старе відро з кольоровими прикрасами, білими кульками, і пластиковою носовою-морквиною.
En: He carefully pushed forward an old bucket filled with colorful decorations, white balls, and a plastic nose-carrot.

Uk: "Ми можемо використовувати це!
En: "We can use this!"

Uk: " - сказав він з хитрою усмішкою.
En: he said with a cunning smile.

Uk: Оксана із великим зітханням згодилася.
En: Oksana sighed deeply and agreed.

Uk: "Ну добре, ми зробимо щось особливе," - промовила вона, беручи в руки пластикові предмети.
En: "Alright, let's make something special," she said, taking the plastic items in her hands.

Uk: Сніговик ріс.
En: The snowman grew.

Uk: Юрій, замість допомагати, вмішував всілякі дивовижні елементи: капелюх із газет, капронові штани і різнокольорові стрічки.
En: Yuriy, instead of helping, added all sorts of amazing elements: a newspaper hat, nylon pants, and multicolored ribbons.

Uk: Світанна постійно виправляла його витівки.
En: Svitanna constantly corrected his antics.

Uk: Коли ж дійшло до носа, Юрій вирішив взяти листодувку, яку привіз на "всяк випадок.
En: When it came to the nose, Yuriy decided to use a leaf blower he had brought "just in case."

Uk: " Із сміхом він увімкнув її, розганяючи легкий сніг по всьому Ринку.
En: With laughter, he turned it on, scattering the light snow all over the Rynok.

Uk: "Юрію, зупинись!
En: "Yuriy, stop!"

Uk: " - закричала Оксана, але пізно — вітер підняв у повітря кульки та пластикові носи.
En: yelled Oksana, but it was too late — the wind lifted balls and plastic noses into the air.

Uk: Люди навколо сміялися.
En: People around laughed.

Uk: Це було схоже на карнавал.
En: It resembled a carnival.

Uk: Нарешті, судді підійшли.
En: Finally, the judges approached.

Uk: Дивлячись на безлад, один з них усміхнувся.
En: Looking at the chaos, one of them smiled.

Uk: "Це дійсно щось нестандартне," — сказав він.
En: "This is truly something unconventional," he said.

Uk: Іранія полонила серця журі.
En: Irony captivated the judges' hearts.

Uk: Оксана була здивована.
En: Oksana was surprised.

Uk: Її команда отримала нагороду за найкреативнішого сніговика.
