Sv: Snön föll lätt över Göteborgs Universitet den här vintermorgonen.
En: The snow fell lightly over Göteborgs Universitet this winter morning.

En: The old brick buildings were covered by a thin white blanket, and from the sea came a sharp chill that made all the students put on their warmest scarves and coats.

En: It was exam week, and stress lay like a heavy blanket over the entire campus.

Sv: Johan hade suttit uppe sent i biblioteket.
En: Johan had stayed up late in the library.

En: He dreamed of getting top grades to secure an important scholarship.

Sv: Men hans oro bet honom ständigt i nacken.
En: But his worry constantly nagged at him.

En: He opened one of his books again but couldn't quite concentrate.

En: Elin, his friend, leaned over the table and smiled.

Sv: "Kom ihåg att ta pauser, Johan," sa hon.
En: "Remember to take breaks, Johan," she said.

En: "Your well-being is just as important as the grades."

Sv: Johan nickade men fyllde sitt huvud med mer information.
En: Johan nodded but filled his head with more information.

En: Lucas, their mutual friend, came in, laughing and rubbing his hands to get warm.

Sv: "Tentar du nu?"
En: "Are you cramming now?"

En: he laughed when he saw Johan's mountain of books.

En: "Have to," replied Johan, eyes fixed on a line of text.

Sv: "Jag har knappt öppnat böckerna än," sa Lucas avslappnat.
En: "I've barely opened the books yet," said Lucas casually.

Sv: "Men det löser sig."
En: "But it'll work out."

En: "Not everyone can be like you, Lucas," replied Elin shaking her head.

En: Lucas shrugged and continued toward the café.

En: The night before the hardest exam, Johan decided to pull an all-nighter.

En: Elin had warned him that it would be better to sleep, but his anxious thoughts pushed him to read more.

En: He sat with open books in front of him and his coffee cup constantly filled.

En: When exam day finally came, the students marched through the crisp air toward the old lecture halls.

Sv: Johan kände sig trött och nervös.
En: Johan felt tired and nervous.

Sv: När han fick tentan framför sig, verkade orden simma framför hans trötta ögon.
En: When he got the exam in front of him, the words seemed to swim before his tired eyes.

En: An important question stared at him, but his mind was blank.

Sv: Paniken kröp in, men då mindes han något Elin hade sagt.
En: Panic crept in, but then he remembered something Elin had said.

Sv: "Andas in djupt och släpp ut sakta.
En: "Breathe in deeply and exhale slowly.

Sv: Det hjälper."
En: It helps."

En: Johan closed his eyes for a moment, focused on breathing.

Sv: När han öppnade dem igen tycktes allt klarna.
En: When he opened them again, everything seemed to clear up.

En: He wrote, and the pages filled with text and newfound confidence.

Sv: När Johan lämnade in sin tenta mötte han Elin utanför.
En: When Johan handed in his exam, he met Elin outside.

Sv: "Hur gick det?"
En: "How did it go?"

Sv: frågade hon.
En: she asked.

Sv: "Bra, tack vare dig," log Johan.
En: "Good, thanks to you," smiled Johan.

Sv: "Du hade rätt.
En: "You were right.

Sv: Ibland behöver man bara andas."
En: Sometimes you just need to breathe."

En: Johan walked away with a new insight.

En: The balance between studies and health was important.

Sv: Han skulle inte glömma det.
En: He would not forget it.
